  1. Nice car, welcome to the forums mate!
  2. Nice range of BMW's mate. I really like the 335i you have there, the coupe shape is really awesome. I know someone else with a 335i and they're really great cars. Welcome to the forums by the way.
  3. Hi, any photos of your E31 yet?
  4. Hi mate. Thanks for your offer, but I will have to decline. I'm very fussy about my M3, and it's a very rare NZ new model, so I don't really need any Jap imports parts on it. If it's from a 330i, then it probably won't be the same as the M3 mirror.
  5. BMW even throw in a racesuit and helmet, what a bargain!!! I'm really liking the new M3...
  6. Hey mate, welcome to the forum. Sounds like you got a great car there, I'm sure it would be an interesting project to get it fixed up and sorted out. You're very lucky to have a car like this at 18, is this your first car, what else do you drive? Regarding servicing I guess would depend on what part of Auckland you live in, South Auckland, North Shore, etc... As many guys have said, it does sound like Glenn knows his stuff about Bimmer's, but if you're on the Shore Botany is quite a way away. There are some other places that I can suggest you try on the Shore if needed. You also mention that you like the E46 M3's, nice!!! I have 1 and they're awesome cars.
  7. Thanks for explaining this to me Tom, was great to chat to you as well. Don't we just live in a small world? You made me realise that I have an even more unique car now. You'll see how well it's been looked after. I'll send the email to those guys in the USA you suggested and we'll have a look at this together, hey. Cheers!
  8. Hi, I've been having a problem with the automatic dimming feature of my M3 rearview mirror for a while and for the life of me can't figure out why it wouldn't be working. I was working a while ago, but have noticed lately that it doesn't seem to be, or maybe it's just my imagination. Does anyone know of any issues that there may be with this feature. I have a brief understanding of how this feature works, some kind of electro chromic technology that send a charge through the mirror at certian conditions of light. Just seems like this elctric charge isn't working anymore. Thanks for your help!
  9. Good on ya mate! Keep an eye out for track days on here, or go to www.bmwclub.co.nz
  10. Welcome to the forum Jom, and thanks for showing us some photos of your awesome M5. What a car for your first Bimmer. You mst be happy hey? This may be a stupid question here, but is it a manual shift? Sorry, I have a E46 M3 and I know them pretty well, but not the E60's. We'll have to have a drive sometime around some twisty roads, or maybe you should take it to a BMWClub trackday sometime. Would love to see it closely.
  11. Hi Jack, and welcome. Mint looking car for it's age. Nice bodykit, keep it looking good mate!
  12. Do you have the Dension Brent?
  13. Hi, this website isn't working anymore. Does anyone know if there are any problems? Thanks!
  14. Nice ride bro, and welcome to the BMW family. Nice speaker box. What type of system do you have? Did you mount them yourself?
  15. Thanks for the comments, Yes, this is an awesome colour for the M3. Not sure if this is the right place to ask general questions, but I'm looking to get diagnostic software for my Beemer. Anyone have any recommendations and where I could look? Cheers!
