i had a torana with a std 202,it was pointless to rev it ober about 3500 rpm but it would quick to 100mph and would wheelspin in third gear in the weti am sure as much work on a m30 would have similar results

never thought it was mate,and i know my justification is simplistic.Better driver training,and real driver licensing tests.We need people to take driving seriously not just regard it as a task to be carried out with little care or pride.

its not about the poiticians.They are generally just joe lunch boxes like you and me withan ambition to do the best for all of us(at the start anyway).Its the officers of the ministries who are tasked with reducing the road toll but given very few resources to do it.They will obviously target the simplest approach with the broadest application.What is easier than catching people who drive faster than the rest,no judgement or selection processes are required

Msport exhaust?The Msport cars are identical mechanically to the non m sport cars,save for suspension,the other differences are wheels,interior options and some body parts. The Real Msprt cars(ie M5) is different in just about every way mechanically from any other E39

Most bmw arent real(of the line) rockets,they are relatively heavy and high geared.I dont think you will gain what you want with what you propose

its normal if your car is hot and you stop.Without the cooloing effect of the radiator,airflow,waterpump etc the coolant actually gets hotter before it cools again

cool.be warned that some replaceable items will be very expensive.Regular maintenance is like any other car but keep up to date on your coolant and brake fluid changes.
