I've bought a car off those guys before - they basically get tradeins and try on sell them for small margins. The car I bought badly needed a service. Also that car looks like it has the typical BMW red fade going on (which would annoy me). Personally I think you can find better..... Up to you! Edit - buy mine and get Ray to drop a manual into it! http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=351795893 That's two shameless plugs for you now!

What sort of price out of interest Tristan?
-
I always get that the wrong way round!
-
I'm sure jono (zenetti) could help you out.
-
I believe they will with hubcentric rings. They probably have different hub sizes from memory.
-
Tristan, in my opinion you should keep an eye on these: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=349391411 (But wheels are definitely a personal choice....)

Added new photos on the auction to tempt someone...... Like this:

Tristan - click on this link to see where the bulb is. It's a 30sec job. http://www.hidlightsusa.com/images/E39_instruction.jpg

Kerry, I'll be the first to say it - can you put a price up? EOI just puts buyers off. "Offers" isn't good enough. If you want to get the best price for your item just start high and work down. Your much more likely to sell something when people know how much you're after. And it saves people making stupid offers cluttering up your thread.

Yeah I recognised the user name so thought I'd be polite. Required a lot of self control after looking at the Honda.

That's definitely an option once this sells. I miss my E39 sedan, so it makes sense! I'd consider an E46 wagon, but the majority are 318s, which doesn't excite me.
-
Cheers guys - it certainly is a good looking car. Unfortunately I just need a wagon - I thought I'd try to trick myself (because I always wanted an E36 msport sedan like this) but after 6 months it really isn't big enough for me. Edit: Plus if you gave it a manual conversion from Ray it'd be even more awesome!
-
Cheers Kerry - I was expecting you to comment as such. Given the condition this is in, and the service history, I'm pretty confident with the pricing. I also sold a 323i msport coupe about 9 months ago for more than what I'm asking here - and that was auto and the same kms. Good luck with your sale too.

Hey guys, I've put my E36 sedan up on TradeMe if anyone is on the hunt for a new car? I really need a wagon now. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=349367349 1996 323i Sedan 116,xxx kms Full msport kit (bodykit, interior, suspension) 18" BBS RX wheels Heaps of receipts from the past 8 years. Just had a service and the waterpump/thermostat etc changed. It is in really good condition for the age. Reserve is $8,200 on the auction, but if you're interested get in touch.

Price lowered - $100 outside TradeMe! Pickup from Grey Lynn or Auckland CBD

Guys, Selling a set of E36 headlights if anyone is interested? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=348533762 They're in great condition with no cracks or broken mounts (like most have on TM). You can buy them for $150 outside TradeMe - send me a PM. Good option to install some Angel Eyes on these if you're worried about breaking your own set! Cheers

Because how do you attract women with a sandwich board? A car with wheels at 45 degree angles is the best way...... They really take notice. Seriously though, this doesn't make sense to me either. Maybe I'm getting old!
-
How much do you want for them? Any chance you'd ship them up to Auckland?
-
That looks awesome Ray. How many kms out of curiosity?
-
I'd agree - after taking my 323i around the North Island over Christmas, I was getting good economy. Over 10km/l even with aircon going non-stop, and a packed car. (600 - 700 km a tank) It's much nicer to drive than the 318is I had previously.
-
If they're the OEM headlights, get the LED bulbs off trademe for like $90. They are white and bright. As easy as changing the bulb too - no wiring or ballasts to worry about.

Saw this yesterday and laughed: http://www.carjam.co.nz/car/?plate=Mybmuu

Hah that could require some serious work! Edit: the rears are 9" wide with offset of +8. Any thoughts on how hard this would be to fit on an E36 with standard msport suspension - apart from serious guard work? Or am I dreaming because it's silly season?

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-341866764.htm How awesome are these....... I've always wanted to fit them onto an E36

Coupes and sedans are the same. Ti's are different.
