Basically it worked out at $600 instead of the original $1000. Thanks again Glenn

This closes at 10.30am tomorrow - put a bid on!
-
Off trademe. You can buy them off Eurolights but think they're around $550 incl shipping from Aussie. I didn't pay that much!
-
Ray (HellBM) may also have some. Give him a call.
-
I hope you're planning to tell the buyer about your suspected headgasket problems.
-
I got Ray to fix my slight coolant leak on the top tank. And reset the airbag light. HellBM is o for oarsome

Plus, from a rational point of view - The resale will be higher on the 328 It's less likely to be a cop target as Simon said It's less likely to be stolen (insurance will be cheaper) But this is a BMW forum........

That's not a hard decision. BMW - 1, Mitsi - 0

Cheers mate! Yeah Leukaemia is too common, and this charity does great work both caring for people, and researching too. You can go online here and donate with a credit card or bank transfer: http://www.marrowthon.org.nz/view_group_event_profile/42 Thanks for your support!

Some of you may be interested in what I just listed on TradeMe.... http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=319244973 Basically, we're trying to fundraise for the Leukaemia and Blood Foundation so this auction is for my mate and I to come and do jobs you need doing for half a day. Things like digging holes, washing cars, painting a fence, chopping firewood..... all those kinds of things you need done but can't be bothered to do yourself. It doesn't have to be labour intensive either - could be writing documents or sending invoices for example. Starting bid is only $5 an hour, so pretty cheap! Plus, the top bid goes to the charity - we don't touch a cent of it.
-
Good luck Glenn! You'll be pretty damn happy when you manage to do it.
-
That's awesome. The rims look mint! Nice work.
-
All sorted thanks to Glenn. Good old fashioned customer service - thanks mate.

Thanks Glenn - WVWZZZ6NZWW058199

Hi once again, My mate has just been quoted $850 +GST to replace the fuel pump in her 1997 VW Polo. Do you think this is a realistic price?? I have no idea! Cheers, Simon

No worries man. Yeah they're the complete headlight. I was too worried that I'd ruin a pair of good headlights by doing DIY! But the LED Umnitzas do look sick.
-
Josh, here you go! You can see they don't look too unlike the OEMs Took about an hour to do, all plug and play.
-
Josh, I'll take some pics later. I actually picked up brand new sealed Depo units with Angel Eyes instead of park lights - like the E39 ones. They are these ones on TradeMe here (although I paid nowhere near that much) http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=317416559 I looked into LED angels to attach to existing headlights, and Umnitza looked the best. Think Nick's pretty clued up about the options.

Did you "condition" the battery when you first got it? (Ie fully charge, run flat, fully charge, run flat etc) Do you charge every night, or when the battery is flat only? (It's better to charge only when flat) Do you often go in and out of coverage? (A phone uses lots of power trying to reconnect to a network) These are the questions you will need to be prepared for!
-
Good luck. It's pretty common to have only a 6 month warranty on a battery as it's a "consumable". Will be very interested to see how you go - fingers crossed customer service wins in the end!
-
Ok sweet - cheers!

Turns out these were actually plug and play! If anyone wants photos, let me know. They look awesome.

Just noticed the intake above the grill on my E36, in the middle of the photo, is disconnected from the large hose behind it. Sorry for the average photo, had to google images it. Can someone tell me what this hose is for? Is it a big deal its perished? Cheers guys

Guys, It's not often I'd ask for something like this, but I have accepted a challenge, and need your help! My mate and I are going to Taupo to play 100 holes of golf each in one day to raise money for the Leukaemia and Blood Foundation. We have set a target of raising $5,000 in the next four weeks. This is an endurance event like no other – we are challenging our love of golf (and ability to talk non-stop smack) by playing 100 holes of golf in one day! Typically 18 holes takes 4 hours, so this is definitely a good challenge!! If you'd like to support us, let me know, or click the link below. http://www.marrowthon.org.nz/view_group_event_profile/42 Any good fundraising ideas will be accepted too! Cheers
