Hi all, Just putting this up here in case anyone is looking for a tidy E39 and hasn't already seen this on TradeMe. 2002 525i Motorsport sedan 112km Topaz Blue Excellent condition I'm the second NZ owner, and it's been in the country for ~75kms already. $9800 and I'll include a fresh service and WOF for Bimmersporters. Photos are in the listing: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=751798280 Cheers

I put Depo headlights with angel eyes on my E36 sedan a few years back, pics at the bottom of this thread. I thought they looked good in the amber colour as opposed to LED.
-
They would take some serious guard work to fit. Depends what look you're after and how much you want to spend I guess. The offset on those is at least 20mm wrong for an E46.
-
Sold this a while ago. Think they were 18x8 et38 from memory, with 235/40 in the rear. Tourings have a tendency to rub much wider than that. Flick me a PM if you've got more questions.
-
Yeah that's a dream one... $22k is a lot for an E46 though.
-
Thanks guys - yes have been through TM but nothing appeals. Need to buy relatively quickly and budget depends on the car. Cheers

I'm looking to buy an E46 Touring, but there are limited ones for sale. Does anyone have one they're considering selling? If so, send me a PM. Ideally 6cyl motorsport version, but open to others. Cheers

A few months back I sold an NZ New 328ci manual for $12k with full documented service history, and I think that was the upper end of it's value. If you've got good service history with relevant major work done, I think 15k is plausible. It all comes down to finding that buyer....
-
My old E39 did exactly the same thing - was crank angle sensor. I assume you'll need to scan it to find out.
-
Just drove the 328ci to Taupo - and after decelerating from 100kmh it would hesitate / miss if I stayed in fourth or fifth gear. As in, it would jerk like it was trying to stall but the rpm didn't drop. Seemed worse if it was a downhill section of the road. Any thoughts on possible causes before I get it scanned? Driving to Napier tomorrow so thought I'd ask. It just had a service including plugs last week. Cheers guys

I had one of these, in this colour too.

They completely changed their target market when the import laws changed - and have done well. Talk to the manager Dean, you can negotiate hard with him if you want to.

I'm after a front motorsport bumper for an E46 prefacelift coupe. Preferably black. Anyone? Cheers
-
Cheers mate, I like them too. They're pretty hard to get - put it this way, I wouldn't sell them for less than $2k with tyres.
-
Gave the E46 a good clean. NZ new 328ci, 5 speed. Recently picked up the 18" BBS RCs off a member.
-
$20k seems a lot for that in my opinion...
