Hey guys, My E46 ('01 325i touring) has a strange quirk - when cruising at a constant speed, the rpms fluctuate every couple of seconds (by about 200rpm). It does this at various speeds, but when going up hills, it's accompanied from a metallic rattle at the rear. No codes are being thrown. I reckon it'd only be worth 9-10k with a fully functioning engine wouldn't it? Someone should save it though!

Cheers guys. The exhaust sounds similar to my old 330i, maybe 15% louder. It's just a good rumble. Also, I don't have any more photos of the back at the moment. The exhaust does sit low, but it looks better in person than in those photos! *Edit* A quick Google found this, which is the same setup.

I recently bought an E46 325i wagon, and hadn't put any photos up yet. Today I finished polishing the lip on the wheels to remove clear coat imperfections, so took a couple of photos. (Not the iPhone's best work, but gives an idea) It's got: 18" M-parallel wheels Remus quad exhaust Bilstein shortened shocks Black grille, tints etc.

DIY refurb on the m-pars by polishing the lip. Considering what state they were originally in, they look heaps better!

Yeah I went a few weeks ago. Few touched up stone chips on the front, but relatively tidy. Brake rotors and pads look like they were recently changed. No service history at all, and he knows nothing about if the cooling system has had any work done. No obvious coolant leaks though. He wanted $15,500 when I looked which was too high considering kms and lack of history. Edit: headlights were pretty crazed too.

Paying $35 is probably a good option.

Just swapped the amber lights to clears on the E46 sedan. So have: 2x taillights (both bits) 2x side markers 2x front indicators All pre facelift and great for spares. Excellent condition with no marks. Pick them up from Kingsland tomorrow for $50 or 2 boxes of Steinlager Pure. First in first served!
