Awesome 1996 BMW 323i. Registration till February next year! 142,000kms! Full leather interior. I am the second NZ owner. First lady owned for 11 years, and has been looked after. Overall very tidy for it's age. Roof lining is perfect, door cards are pretty good (drivers side peeling on the corner slightly), leather seats perfect and not cracked, Sunroof/windows work perfectly, no leaks anywhere. Infinity 6x9's fitted in the rear tray. Has an AC Schnitzer exhaust system from the headers back, which makes it sound beautiful (not loud, just deep and nice - like the straight 6 should!). Also has euro style lights now. Being a Japanese import it is a bit rough changing between 1st & 2nd on the Auto gearbox when cold (fine once warmed up - very common problem) however if you wish, I have a manual conversion for $500 with purchase. I have recently had the cooling system overhauled (so you don't need to worry about that). Replaced thermostat, thermostat housing (upgraded to metal one), vicious fan, waterpump, & heater control valve. What are these like compared to the 328i Mufflers? Sound better? Flow Better? More Performance?

Haven't done anything on a dyno (before or after) but i can definately notice a difference. Was easy as to install, just did it in an afternoon. Everything bolted straight on.

Hi Guys, Finally have to swap my exhaust as my cat is stuffed in my current one, So i thought i might as well go for the 328i Exhaust instead. My current exhaust has a cat converter, will the 328i exhaust need to have a cat for the sensors etc or will it be fine without them (I would rather have one without a catalytic converter but if i have to i have to) Thanks for your help

Would the 328i Catback bolt directly on to the 323i?

What is one of these exhaust systems worth? I have found one but the guy won't tell me a price, just tells me to make an offer. So, what should I offer?

Just thought I would post something up about this. If they haven't done it as a marketing campaign then it has worked damn well as one. Its all over the media.
