Hi all. Is anyone wrecking a manual e34? Problem found and it was half shaft seizing that sheared diff bolts. I'm getting diameter details soon but already know manual shafts are bigger than the Autos. And anyone know roughly what used half shafts are worth? Any help would be great

Hi all. I wanting to get an idea of the average value of a diff for my e34. I think it's ratio is 3.64. Not confirmed its stuffed yet but sheared all bolts of the rear of driveshaft yesterday and so far driveshaft cvs hangers etc all look OK. Massive shudder started doing 50km then it just snapped no drive. No lock up of wheels. Anyone ever had anything similar happen?. I never do any burnouts etc. Model e34 530 m30 b30 6 cylinder manual

Bridgestone re003, great tire for the money. I've run the re002s now re003 can't say a bad word about them for dry and wet grip and performance wear rate etc the best tire I've run on my e34.

Hi all i think ive buckled one alloy. so looking to see if anyone knows or has a single or set pair etc for sale. As far as i know they are style 5 v2 basketweave round centre cap not bottle top. 16x7 et20 or et23 of a e39 or maybe e38 as there is the same style alloy that comes in 16x8 which i run on the rear of my e34. Any leads or info would be great. Cheers

Hi. I know this topic has been covered a lot. But I can't seem to find answer. When the latch breaks old age etc. Is it just the back part of latch that is normally faulty not the front section with handle? Any advice on if I need to replace outside handle section and inside latch section or just the inside latch with hooks?

Hello recently I had trouble with right hand side indicator lights staying on constantly no flashing. Wether car is running or not. I removed relay 2pin yellow with blue strip. And it turns indicator lights off. I've replaced relay and worked fine for a few days and problem returned. Both indicators work fine with out relay. But my remote central locking won't work with relay out. Anyone know or had this problem before? Any ideas would be great.

Hi all Thank you for advice. I won't bother heading to pick a part now and buy new stuff. The car is a 1985 ae82 gt 4age. My daily driver is a 1989 e34 530i se manual with m30B30 6 cylinder. Have replace worn front engine mount which was knackered. And rest I considering replacing. To see if it makes a difference feeling is it has to be caused by engine or exhaust but had on hoist a few times and can see anywhere that's hitting. To cause vibration in firewall. Gearbox is not standard but tight fit so might try it's mounts. And then pull dash apart to see if can find anything. If it was just a little vibration I would care it's a race car but once I hit right revs mostly under deceleration it is incredibly loud.

Year it is. But I'm not super competitive. And it's road legal and like to take for a good drive now and then. And this vibration is extremely loud from firewall. Nothing wrong with mechanics of car just something causing it a certain revs. Makes driving it very annoying as it's very loud at certain times. So not worried about a bit of extra weight

I didn't really explain. It's for another car that is completely stripped race car. And I searched everywhere for the loud noise. So going to live with it. And try dampen it down a little inside cabin.

Hi all. I just wanted to see if anyone had ever used sound deadening from a Bmw been wrecked on another car?. I not doing it for stereo sound quality. It's for a car I have a very loud vibration on which I can't find for the life of me. Nothing obvious. So was thinking about getting some sound deadening from old euro car from pick apart and reusing it. To save money on expensive new stuff. Do mind hard work and wondering if it's possible to remove from a e36 or anything else at pick apart. And cover my fire wall and front floor pan in race car.

Hello Can you help me i need a heater resistor for my Bmw 1989 e34 530i SE Chassis number WBAHC52060BE47179 I pulled it out and only numbers i can find are 823144 S. And not sure if the resistors need to be same as brand of heater?? Can you tell me the correct Bmw part number? or if anyone has a working one for sale Im also looking for a boot actuator part number 51261378396 And maybe a air flow meter for a m30 b30 or b35 Kind regards Bryn

Sorry submitted twice how do I delete this one Hi. I looking at replacing my ignition leads. I've just replaced the distributor and rotor than were both as old as the car is. There's a huge difference in prices buying online from the UK. I just want an exact oem replacement. I Have found a brand Quinton hazell QT online they say same spec as originals for roughly $120 NZ sent to me. Now originals from Bmw are around $7-800 for the set. So sorry if has been discussed before. But does anyone have any experience good or bad with aftermarket ignition Leads? Heard or knew of QH. Which is big manufacturer in the UK of car parts. Or can recommend a good standard replacement? Best value for money Cheers

Hey. Yeah very true ordered all my clips through them and brake ducts trim etc from US. Much cheaper. Also have a chip coming for my m30 b30.
