Forget last thread.Have found out 235/60/16s are to tall for E34. How much do you want for tyres Brent?

Cheers Brent for offer. I think Ive got some sorted. One question, Can anyone tell me if the whole centre cap of orignal 15inch basket weave of E34 is the same size as orignal 16inch basket weave of E38?. I want to get 16s but don't like the centre cap its a little different to the 15s I have so want to know if I can swap them over. Also just want to check 235/60/16s are ok to run on E34? Any advice would be great. Cheers

Ok cheers will have a look at the rim to see. So its not ideal but I could run 225 on them and not have have any trouble. And I take it theres loads of room for them on e34 with no rubbing?. Sorry Im new to bmws so could be stupid question Are they the only 2 sizes of tyre i could go for with them? Cheers for you advice

Ok so I could run alloys with 205/60/16 for now and replace with 225/55/16s later on?. Im not sure if they are 7" or 8" does it make a big difference?. Cheers

Its happening when driving at low speeds. haven't testing it when coasting my guess is it would do it. It started 3 days ago and have got worse everyday.

Cheers all for advice. Have noticed a knocking that started 3 days ago and getting worse. Have done the control arms, sway bar links so thinking the shocks might be knackered anyway. so might have to get it all done now. Does anyone no what else would cause knocking at low speed from front end.

Hey Thinking about lowering my 530i. I don't want to have it sitting on the deck just lowered a bit, and still have a nice ride. it has orignal suspension in it a the moment and will look at shocks later when money allows. So any ideas on the springs to go for. Im new to bmws so not sure how many options there are. Also have seen some people only lowering the front. Is that a good idea or not? Cheers

Im just researching what alloys, strut brace, are all worth roughly . So I can see what I can afford. I need new tyres so I was just seeing if it was worth getting new alloys and tyres instead. Just looking a 2nd hand gear.

Im looking to improve the handling on my 89 e34 530i. I thought I would start with getting a strut bar for the front. Any advice on where to get one and the best brand to get. Or does anyone have second hand one?. Also looking at getting 17inch alloys for it. So if anyone is selling some let me know. Any advice would be great. Cheers
