Hello My cousin has decided to look at selling her car Its a 1997, E36 ,318is, Manual, M sport, 4 Door, Fiji Green, 225k on the clock, full leather interior Only a handfull of this 4 door version made it into NZ in the late 90s before Bmw put a stop to it. In the colours Green, Blue, Yellow. It was built in South Africa. Im wanting to get idea of value. As this is a rare car been 4 door and the colour. Full M Sport Very tidy and always maintained. Loads of paper work. 2 lady owners since new as far as i know. Only flaw i Know of right now is preious owner cleaned the wheels a bit to much and paint is flaking off. Need to be refubished but not a huge job. When last asked for values it was very broad. 5-9ish. I guess if car collector wanted it for collection would be worth the top dollar. But as always only worth what someone is willing to pay. If anyone is potentally interested in viewing or contacting me PM me. I cant seem to upload photos can anyone help with that? All opinions on value welcome

Hi. Mainfreight always seem to have fair postage charges. If can get dropped to depot and delivered to depot makes it cheaper

Hello. I've finally have the extra bits of body work for my e34. I'm installing the 540i brake ducts to the standard front bumper. I know it's not a real difficult job but need to get cuts right. And thinking instead of doing myself getting someone to do it for me. Does anyone have any recommendations for a panel shop to do this or is there anyone who may have experience with this job that would be keen on a cash job. I Also have some m5 side skirts which I'm not sure if will fit straight on or some slight work needs doing to fit them. Has anyone fitted m5 side skirts to standard e34?? Any advice or names of people around wellington area would be great. Cheers

Hi. I second the Powerflex bushes!! Installed them on my sway bars front and rear on my e34. Improved feel from front end. And slight shimmy gone! Also after searching only brand that fitted like factory ones. After purchasing a set that were nothing like the originals. Will replace every bushe with them as they need to be replaced.

Hi thanks for that. I've seen different way than that with leaving a small strip of plastic bottom of driving lights. For strength. Has anyone done this mod in wellington of know handy person who might be interested in doing the job

Hi. Can anyone give me or put me onto a walk through of tips and best way to go about it. Have a good idea just thinking there might be tips to make easier or better job. Also has anyone ever had paint matched in spray cans and managed to get a good finish on spray bumpers etc?. Also was about to try the volvo lip trick on the E34 but found the brake ducts before starting. So have a volvo lip that might be for sale.

Hello. Can anyone advise me on brands or what company make polyurethane bushes for the E34. The nolathane brand don't fit have a flat edge and original bushes are almost a full round bush. And wouldn't fit. Do you have to adapt any aftermarket bushes to fit the anti roll bar sway bar. Front bar. 23mm Rear bar. 15mm And want to replace rear drop links too. With polyurethane or urethane bushes if can get them. Any advice would be great thank you

Im helping cousin sell it but she's in no rush. She has owned it for a while and known car most it's life. Always maintained black leather is in good condition interior is tidy. On fault I can think of it previous owner cleaned it a lot as looked after it but used to harsher alloy cleaner so they would need to be repainted to get it back up to scratch. I'm a specialist car detailer so has had paint looked after. Will be giving it a full clay and polish before sale. If had money I'd buy it. She only wants to sell because of attention she gets because of colour.

As I said there were about 30 of the 4 door with the 3 different colours and M Sport kit that were built in SA that got into the country that BMW didn't plan on but as far as I know went to Japan and sent here never meant for nz market. Once Head office found out they stopped it. Hesse why you won't see many of the pastel blue green yellow models in NZ. As there isn't any. Brought into nz brand new.
