I have for sale 4 of 14" basket weaves to fit an E30. They have been fully refirbished with new centre cap emblems as well.They are fitted with 195x65x14 tyres with 5 mm of tread. A great set of wheels and tyres to smarten up your daily driver or your weeken special car. Im after $400.00 or near offer for these. Use your 2.5 block , your original 2.5 ltr pistons, with an M50 2.8 ltr crank and 2 litre rods and you have a perfect 2.8 ltr engine. I did it last year with great success.You can still use your origional ECU and airflow meter.

Try leaning off the idle mixture. It s an internal hex headed adjuster on the top of the airflow meter, sometimes hidden by a blue blanking plug.. CCW to lean off the mixture .Try half a turn then rev the engine and let it return to idle. when the idle mixture is correct the engine should drop straight back to a steady idle without dropping too far and then recovering.

I bought the three piece set for my E30's ( Alpinas, baskets weaves and BBS Rs's ) . They work brilliantly and with no metal there is no risk of scratching our precious wheels. They are a really good investment.
