Can't see the attraction really. Brings images of Noddy, Cars movie and cartoons to mind.

Pretty good, how ever...............................As someone who eeks out a living with art this impresses the f**k out of me. Would be in my top 3 in talent.

HAHA good f**ken job, dance ya little f**kers. I would've done the same, and i'm no red neck, hillbilly or white trash. Karl, come tag my fence and see if i don't make ya dance.

Am i correct in assuming you are the same 'HY-TEK' that had a 2 door a couple years ago?

Sierra is the name for the first gen covering sedan, wagon, coupe (3 window, range form 1600 pinto up to RS Cosworth), coupe (5 window, XR4i and XR4iT, Merkur USA only), 5 door hatch (XR4x4 and 2wd pinto) Sapphire is 2nd gen sierra but name covers sedans only. That's how i decifered it from the Sierra books and lit' i have. More info' here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Sierra Sierras have always been in my top 5 car list.

Hold out for a later model 4x4 one. I had a Moonstone blue 4x4 and it was so much more of a car than the 2wd Sapphires. Sold that and bought a Sierra Cosworth (2 door) very low k's but 397 RWHP and that thing used to scare the sh*t outa me every time it rained lol. I'd look at this one http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-313814874.htm PS: Sapphire Cosworth = 4 door. Sierra Cosworth = 2 door.

Well some of us could, and i think you forgot the sarcasim font.
-
That's nothing mate, couple of times this winter it's come down to the end of our road, and that's only 600 meters from my drive.
-
Rick has Tech 2 skirts which i painted, but he doesn't have door pods (has 4 door ones but no good) so when he gets some coupe pods they will be painted and put on.

My E34 520 was M20 powered and was at 310,000km when i sold it. In the 4 years i owned it the ONLY thing i had to do (apart from reg' oil / filter changes) was clean the ICV (idle control valve). Never had head gasket or water pump issues, in fact i never even changed the plugs or air filter. High k's mean nothing. The tow pig (VR Commodore ute) is at 298,000 and i defy anyone to tell the difference between mine and a low k Commodore when driving.

Still haven't changed those indicators over yet lol. I'm john, you bought the BBS's off me.
-
Just do a Zetec conversion on it mate, simple, easy and CHEAP to do. http://www.retroford.co.uk/
-
Yeah mate, hasn't turned out too bad. Stupid camera doesn't take decent pic's tho'.
-
Got it outside to give it a quick hose off, then back in to fit the tech 2 front. Tommorow get it together, thorough wash then a final hand glaze and it's ready to go.
-
Onto the cut / buffing. Excuse the crap pic's lol. The 1st session with cutting compound. Start of the 2nd session with a bit finer compound. 2nd session should be done tommorow, then session 3 with a triple glaze buff, then session 4 will be a complete hand buff with a spray mist product. No polish, i don't polish cars. Will leave that up to Rick if he wants to do it. More pic's / updates to come.
-
Will PM you.
-
Believe it or not, i like sanding lol.
-
Update. Painted. Time to do some colour sanding. More updates to come.

Meh, at least Jeremy Clarksons one is fully operational, and he parked it on his front lawn when he lived in the Cotswolds. His nieghbours hated him lol. On the subject of the guy being told he wasn't allowed to rebuild a fighter. You need to read Bruce Simpsons book 'The Missile Man'. He is THE MAN when it comes to building things that governments don't like, he LOVES pissing off the US govt', i'm a huge fan of his. Check his website. http://www.aardvark.co.nz/
