Love old jap weird cars. How much did you pay

Hit soapy water followed by a couple of thorough wipe downs with wax and grease remover.
Once clean of protectants should look abit sad and faded like noone has maintained the plastic over the years.
Or cook meth as previously sugested.

I have used duplicolour with good results.
Key is clean parts. Like cleaner than anything you have ever seen then clean it some more. Silicon based interior protectants are a nightmare to remove and impossible to paint over.

They will test the battery much like repco did but in car they then start the engine which will test starter motor voltage drop. Then it tests alternator charge voltage while running and prints out a little report.

Im guessing shipping will be a killer on such a heavy engine.

I love buying badly advertised crap cheap then making money by advertising properly. Best one lately was three piece alloys for $50. As he did $1 reserve with one crappy picture and no details. I washed em. Took decent photos and listed size and offset with cars it would fit. sold in two days for $800. but thats from people i dont know and using my skills to make money. With people i know like bimmersport i wouldnt talk them down or lie about things.
My current thing with bimmersport is buy crap i dont need then email andy and see if he wants it.

13.7 is quite low especially if it doesnt change with revs. try sca for a free battery test. they can test in car which tests the alternator too.

Tall to eds audio in auckland. They have the biggest range of harnesses and facia panels.
Can get tricky if the car runs canbus but not too bad if you know what your are doing

I really like the west wings one
-
I knew they would be pulling up boot carpet. Rear seat and sill plates.
Spose it depends how it looks. A near new mint car less so than a older car that has rust already

For the person who wants a 540i but needs to spend more on fuel.

You can buy permatex "bearing mount for loose fit" designed for gluing gears on shafts etc. so if you can have it replaced that would be my reccomendation.

I didnt think valve body rebuilds were a diy.

Why cant he just write in or speak to a JOP in the Community Centers of his town for some advice.
I was being serious, My friend was telling me the other day what to do if a cop calls you to court with small issues like this, its got something to do with a maori treaty or something in northland where if you represent yourself as part of this organization then you are above the court. He even told me how people rips off winz. I am going to find out more next time.
What a load of bollocks. Absolutely not true.
Ive seen many people represent themselves as part of a native organisation to be above the courts. Ive seen soverign maori issued licenses, regos, wofs etc etc nome of them are worth the paper they are printed on.
you can tell the cops and the courts how something you printed up at home makes you above them but they will only laugh and charge you court costs.
Noone is above the courts. Im pretty sure that in the rules there somewhere.
Basically comes down to the law is the law. But if you have a reasonable argument to say you didnt break said law they will hear you.
OP knows what to do so bad legal advice from a mate if a mate isnt going to help anyone.

Ive had plastic before but they were properly hard phenolic plastic. Much harder than alloy.
I would be wary about mixing to many indifferent metals in a hot damp enviroment where static charge can be present. Stainless holds a 0.4v anodic difference to aluminium and 0.35v to cast iron. Which is quite bad for generating galvanic corrosion.
Cast iron to alloy is 0.05v so very little reaction.
For this reason i would go for alloy as with stainless the expected corrosion can seize a wheel onto the hub and long term damage the wheel.

A vtec lotus would.totally smash an m3....

16K for a FWD 2L Honda!
IYou could get a nice M3 for that much.....
but I wouldn't go around comparing the Preludes and Integras with m3's.....
Actually you were the first person to compare it to an m3.

Rwd might be superior but bear in mind the 328i is an fat executive car made sporty. The itr is purely made for handling.
Fwd sounds wrong but it works.
Just like a rear engined 911
I wonder if some people have driven a type r in anger or are making blind assumptions

They are normally pretty reasonable. If you can say its a new car in poor weather and it was an accident.
However if you have a long history of being a twat in a car then they wont be kind.

Roundabouts are notorious for buses amd trucks overflowing diesel. Just saying

16K for a FWD 2L Honda!
If this was an NSX or S2000...Would be something I would understand...but a 4 banger front wheel drive...Integra..I never got it.. You could get a nice M3 for that much.....i forbid you dude, you cant be friends with your other honda friend no more...
Would love to know where you plan on finding an 05 m3 for 16k
Unless of course you are comparing a car that is 14 years older than this one? in which case its really apples and oranges.
I love bmws as much as anyone else but some people need to get.off their high horse and realise that bmws arent the pinacle of motoring.
This is a for sale thread. If you arent buying or being constructive then dont comment. Nzhondas.co.nz love trolls so plenty of room over there.

So to summarise for OP dont buy your wofe a car. Sge is most likely human and humans will crash the car 100% of the time.
Volvos have class leading safety features but dont be fooled this is only because when power is delivered to the front wheels the car will most likely just explode.
Best option is to ship the family off to a hippie commune and take plenty of tin foil to make hats.

Penrite enviro + is bmw long life 04 rated.
Very good oil and on newer diesel cars is diesel particulate filter safe.
