Hi there ppl i would like to know if anybody has attempted to accessorise a E28 with parts from other 5 series models for example i would like to add angel eye's to my car but unsure if this can be done if anybody out there can point me in the right direction that would be real helpful.

Hey there guys i need some information leading to the compatible parts out of or from a BMW E34 to go into a E28? I would like to know if i can use a set of rear shocks out of a E34 for my E28???

Hi there ppl i would like to know if there are any lowering options out there for a E28 as i would like to lower my car but need to replace the rear suspension as it is quite spongy and bottoms out when i have passengers and go over uneven road. please help out

hi there people here at Bimmersport i own a 1987 BMW E28 525ee Engine # 1866181 Chassis # WBADB620301866181 imported and built up i have described as much as i can of the problem that i am having with my BMW I would really like to voice out and maybe someone could help us out here we are a couple of proud people that like our bimmer's that much that our bimmer is in need of a sparkies touch, a month and a half ago we filled our car up for it first long trip since in new ownership we reset the trip counter to see how economical our car is, we got as far as Helensville that we noticed that our odometer dial and trip counter wasn't ticking over??????????? why is that we don't know. we went back to the previous owner in which he helped us out by giving us a replacement speedo "thanks Mitchell" now we would like any help from other E28 owners in this forum to point us in the direction to get this problem rectified PS i have also listed this post in the maintanence page as well as this post.

thank you for that information so this would be a common thing for the E28 (5 series) so now i have a replacement speedo dial is there anybody still able to help with the labour.

hi there i own a 1989 320i Sedan i have a small question about an issue that i have just got it goes something like this , when i'm driving on open roads and i get up to speed say around 80 kph it doesn't change to a lower gear ratio it just goes without changing gears , could someone please help Sunday afternoon i topped up the transmission fluid, and the other fluids . i hope this is helpful to pplz understandings

i have managed to find the source of the leak that i explained in the first thread that i had posted in this forum and i have resolved it by readjusting the pipe on the fuel pump underneath the backseat on the drivers side and i also tightened the hose clamp and i have not seen or smelt the smell of fuel since i done this so i have fixed this and thank you to the people that have guided me on what to do it was much appreciated

hi there ppl i was wondering if anybody knows of any good bmw certified mechanics out in the west akl auckalnd that would not charge the world but would give some good quality of workmanship as i have a 1989 BMW 320i with a bit of electrical issues and also a suspected fuel issue's i am not the best in the world of describing a mechanical issue but just recently i fueled my car up since getting it back on the road yesterday driving around and i can smell the faint smell of fuel inside the cabin of the car, i had a look on our driveway after moving it slightly after smelling fuel i noticed that there was a small wet patch and a small trail of fuel (my driveway is a right of way and we're on a steep incline) when i got up the driveway and on to a flat bit of our driveway it stopped trailed but left a bad smell of fuel in the car could someone please read this before sending me replies of this post please "please bear with me I'm a noob "
