Price drop
$1700 ono
Goes on trademe during the week.

They were there when i bought it. I left them there as i didnt see the value in removing them.
-
A couple of possible hints:
Make sure the pinch bolt on the joint is removed. It not only pinches up the splines but also locates in a grove so has to be removed to release propperly.
Ive seen people bend the rack tabs down to get the rack out, not a elegent solution but.. Also before resorting to that try sliding the rack out sideways, no idea if it will work tho.

Not manual but quite negotiable on price

You would be doing well to fit a 6cyl block into a dishwasher wouldnt you?
Im not sure how a dishy works, as in does it draw water from the mains to spray the dishes or is this drawn from an internal sump and re-pumped arround.. Idealy it would be modified to spray engine cleaner also not just waster from the mains to be most effective. I could find out as i do work in the right place..
Another option ive always wanted to try is a tank with a ultrasonic cleaning head in it.

EDIT: Yes dishys do have an internal wash pump so in theory could be made independant of water mains with a header tank of cleaning fluid which it would drain into ant the end on a cycle.

Got an E30 for sale... haha
-
I read that as "dont lower you car to stupid heights with massive amounts of camber then fit unsuitable spring rates because your wheels hit your guards so you can chase fashion over function" The rest is down to certifier disgression.
This is probably an attempt to control unreasonable suspension geometry, however the stated limits would be hard to police. It does however still give the ability to refuse what is wrong and dangerous with a stated clause.

Always wondered if the charger would sit on top of the lower half of the manifold and clear the bonnet.. Could make for a tidy package

that 3 blade chip, i wouldn't know were to put it and how it should look, wire in etc. anyone have pics of the install?
I have data sheets and a spare circuit i can photograph explaining its layout. It took a bit of research and testing to get the final result.

Awesome info, Thanks Ray. May be paying you a visit soon.

Anyone?
Is my price expectancy unrealistic?

You can pinch the ignitors from bosch ecus
Or here http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/bosch-b...-kit-p-230.html
-
MLM are you using bip373's?
Yep, i am.
-
Yep can run on the 60-2 wheel and can connect direct to cam/crank sensor.
For ignitor there is a DIY method I went with which works out @ $12 per channel using Bosch electronics.

Does anyone have a Z3 pwer steering rack available at a reasonable price <$400 or there abouts.
By replacing the one on my E36 with a Z3 rack my E30 can inherit a e36 rack to replace its current leaking rack. Upgrades all round

Hi Guys,
Is an E30 powersteering rack rebuildable? Mine is leaking.
Is this a possible diy job or is it best left to specialists.
