So in Cold air box and header and exhaust would be best bang for buck to improve acceleration in my bmw ? Im really just looking for a faster off the line speed as a top speed of 230kmh is fine by me at this point as i dont offten go that fast any more If any ones Knows a good way to spend 3g on making my bmw fast off the line please help i have v8 brakes all ready they look like they might fit with the 2.5 disc is this right or do i need the v8 discs? thanks nutter

This is a good car man I got the M50 2.5Dohc straight 6 manual and i say its my Fav car ive had so far(only had 7 in my life) I recomend purchasing Clear Front indecators and Look for good condition Smoked rear lights, Makes the car look even better,but yeah Good job getting a e34, Keep us updated

H ey there just wondering if you had any to fit a 1991 e34 525 with the M50 motor ?

Hey there i have my Headers beeing Made up at the Moment Just letting you all know but i have heard something thats has got my attention Apperently my M50 2.5L dohc cams can be replaced with the ones from a M3 1994?(please correct me if it wrong) I was wondering if this is possible,do you get Much of a power gain,is it a straight swap,do i need new values or what will i need? Or what cams(M3,Hot cams?,aftermarket) would be best to use to get a good boost in KW and torque for my motor if there is any? Thanks Nutter

Hey there when you say 'primary ID,secondary ID" what areyou meaning sorry really new to doing After market modes when you say '35 mm " are you meaning the tubing thickness used to make the headers? are they REALLY hard to make or is it just a simple all tubes need to be equal and no sharp turns so its got a balenced FLOW ?and maybe is there some one that could help me make the headers and exhaust or make them for me at a Cheapish Price lOL The Exhuast After the headers i can Weld up and make as i have done it a few times for my NISSAN DRIFTERS(cefiros) lol i just need some one that know what they are on about with the Headers to help or to pay to do it Thanks Gareth

Hey there I think A lot of people would have asked these questions but oh well I have a NZ new 1991 e34 525i Manual with the M50B25 motor I was looking at Building a custom exhaust From what i can see there are no sensors after the or befor the cats(Not sure if theres one on the manifold) and i was wondering does any one have any Headers( Extractor)for my car What would be the best size Tubing to uses for the exhaust 2x 2.5" from headers throw highflow cats to Muffler Or 2-1 3" through a high flow cat to a muffler Does my car need the Cat,What would happen if i removed it Or does any one have a Free flow exhaust that would give my car a bit more power ? Hey there people Im looking for a E30 Prefer if it is a 2 door manual widebody(M3) but yeah that unlikely Does any one have a 2 door e30,it does not have to have wof just needs to have live plates and would prefer it if it was a 6 cyclinders and manual but it does not matter to much at this point and it does not have to be running(e.g Broken gearbox,Motor,stuff thats repairable,not smashed) can any one help me? My e34 525i is all ready manual(stock) but yeah its the M50 mortor(dohc),Are the e34s that came the M20 motor back ends(Shocks,Trail arm) different? Thanks Gareth

HEY some bad news i was goint down eles road in glenfield auckland in the wet at about 50-70kmh and yeah spun my car LOL i looked at my tires and relised(wire showing ) thats why i spun normaly i can do 70 down there and control the sliding lol so yeah snapped suspention,snapped sideshaft and really bent the Trail arm?(Big control arm the hub bolts to?) does any one have a 525i thats dereg or does any one have a back end for one i could strip and get the parts lol. does any one have Belstien or Koni suspention for a e34 and the 540i e34 Brakes calipors and rotors for sale or any of the parts that i would need to fix my baby if you do could you please get in contact with me 094425580 02102944790 thanks Nutter

Heythere you guys probably will know this and laugh but on my 1991 e34 525i M50 motor theres no cable or sensors that i can spot after my cat does this mean its a pre cat sensor and would it hurt my Betty if i put my home made exhaust on ? 2" dual pipe staight throw from the manifold to a proformence euro style Tip/Muffler(well dont know if it proformence one) bought because my mate put one on his M20 an it sounded !@#$ING mean lol.And a few people recon it will be to loud for wof(deal with that once its on) Yeah im sorta a Noob with Porformence parts and upgrades LOL

Well at this moment i dont need more power just more stabilaty as this car is very back happy(im not compaining ) and it likes to lean(which i hate) and its got a bit of power as im only Little Boy race and a starter on the track work. Thanks for all the tips yeah My bushings are pretty stuffed at the moment well control arms are have never been changed lol. i have found a place in albany to that do Proflex bushings as well (www.dynamicraceparts.com 094151070 ), Last night after a little race with a silvia my e34 started to make a thumping noise on my body,ive striped her down and its the rubber dohnut where the drive shaft and gear box bolt to is stuffed and the Centre hanger bearing is stuffed to,do you guys know where to pick up these parts? and if so do you know if there was any better quality ones that i should get instead of stock ones and i dont really want to ripp my v8 apart does any one have a set of calipors and discs off a e34 v8 well atleast the front for now? Hey there I was looking at putting my e34 on the track,well at least take it to track days,But the car at the moment is a standard E34 525i Manual M50B25 1991 and it has a bit to much body roll.ive ended up stripping the body down so it could get the roll cage put in and to loose some weight,Now i was just asking if any one could help me find some Proformence/Track worthy Parts for it. i have a list of part i want to upgrade before i start track days just below I first would like to sort out the handleing and body roll first then brakes then i dont know if i want more power. I have $4000 at the moment to spend on it i know its not lots but I LOVE E34's BEST LOOKING CAR BMW MADE one of them atleast 1.Suspention/Springs 2.nolethane Bushings 3.Brakes(What should i use,are v8 ones Suitable for track work?) 4.Clutch Kit 5.Cold Air intake 6.What ever will make my car faster Thanks i kNow i ask a lot of stupid questions but aye thats how i learn and yes ive decided to re reg the e34 540i and use it as my nice car lol

Hey there i have a Manual 525i e34 with a M50 motor in it the motor is still prett good and the car is still wofed i have been offered a e34 540i dereg for $800 i was wondering would the subframe just bolt out so i could convert my 525 to a 540 or is there alot of cutting and welding needed for the motor to fit.the 540 is hole and runs so i have all parts to just swap if it possible -basicly just wondering with out cuting my engine bay am i able to convert my e34 525i to a 540i if ihad a donnor car thanks gareth

Hey there Last night i was driving home from a night at the clubs was not givin it anything realy and when put it in 3rd BANG!!! now when ever i put it in 3rd its making horrible grinding and crunching but its fine in 1st and 2nd so the motors good. Im pretty sure its a zf gear box to Does any one have a ZF box to sell or know of where to get one reconditioned or Does any one have a e34 535i M30 manual thats dereg but motor and box is still good that they want to get rid of ? or does any one have a M30 motor and box thats still in good nick ?
