hi all drove the e30 for the first time in a few weeks today and noticed the the odometer has stopped ticking over. speedo is working fine aswell as all the other gauges. Any help is appreciated thanks

Testing HT leads and this is what I find. Also onr if the leads is something crazy like 1.3-2Mohms

Ckick test? Can't seem to find that one. Whats involved in doing that

So my baby is packing a sad, throwing a tanty. It's a 87 pfl E30 325 converted to manual with 1.3 ECU upgrade. Currently its missing horribly while accelerating and will miss not so much when cruising along, but will get worse if going up hill. Another issue ive been having is id be driving along fine and then all of a sudden the car would kind of die. So if revs were 2000 they would drop to 500 all of a sudden then about half a second later would jump back up to 2000 causing car to lurch horribly. And it would do this quite often. I disconnected the battery terminal for a couple hours and the problem went away almost. Any thoughts?

so ive got a old 1985 320i e30 that ive removed all the parts needed for the conversion, will they work with my 87 325i? both are 6cyl and prefacelift

Ok so I'm gonna do a manual conversion on my E30 after New Years, I've been looking for a thread on here of someone going through the steps but can't seem to find one. Does anyone know of one? Or should I make one as I go for here? Cheers people

not too sure if this helps but in my auto, there is the switch that allows you to choose S-E-3.2.1 if thats unplugged on mine while the engine is running the starter kicks in dont know if that could be doing something since yours used to be auto

na just a 325i... v8 will go in if engine dies one day though haha

can do, do you have a PO box? or just use your workshop address

Hello all, I'm hoping someone will be able to help me out. Well more like praying. I've been trying to find someone or somewhere that has the parts or some parts that is required to do a manual conversion on my beautiful 1987 prefacelift E30. Was hoping to get it done by the time I get it resprayed at the start of next year, but that's not looking likely anymore. So if anyone out there has the parts or can point me in the right direction I will be so so happy. Thank you all, James.

hi all, the tech1 rear spoiler and boot spoiler still available the car is now free to a good home if someone wants it for parts, the body is in good nick so gaurds and bonnet is sweet, doors are mint, etc... all u gotta do is take the car i would like to sell the kit to someone in auckland because its easier, but will ship it if anyone can tell me who is the best to use cheers

hey guys i hate to do it but am gettin rid of my e30 project, just dont have the time for it now days. so am sellin wat i can.... mtech 1 front with chrome bumber. NO rust, slight damage but nothing majour... SOLD mtech 1 rear spoiler with chrome bumper. good condition... SOLD mtech 1 spoiler. mint condition... $150 1987 E30 white coupe... no engine, no bumpers, fuse box moved to behind glove box, dash is in the boot lol. body itself is in rather good condition, it was resprayed about 7 months before i got it, there is a couple of dents tho. one under the rear driverside window and one by the passenger side headlight....make an offer, not asking for much GONE give me a text. 0210338007 i dont have ready access to the internet, but will try upload some photos once i figure out how to get them off of my phone. cheers, James W.
