  1. I've a 190e cosworth in Ireland, w124 m104 3.2l or om606 (3.0 turbodiesel manual) will be the next project
  2. Also were you driving in his blind spot? I drive trucks a lot and it 'grinds my gears' when cars cruise along in my blind spot
  3. What I have done in the past with vero was to tell them to give me a cheque of a certain amount and I'd disappear and they won't deregistered the vehicle. I did this with a 2010 ninja that was a year old at the time. Red Baron assessed the damage and said it would be 3000 to repair, so 2 weeks after hearing that I still hadn't heard anything from vero. I called them up, told them to give me a cheque for 2500 and I'd consider the matter settled. The cheque arrived 2 days later. I fixed the bike with second hand parts and give it a custom paint job (nissan r35 gtr pearl white) for 1200, I pocketed the rest, and sold the bike for a decent profit :-)
  4. Need a pair with plenty of tread. What have you got? Based in auckland
  5. False alarm, I shoulda spent 3mins looking at the car before posting. I blew fuse 7, central locking. Opps
  6. It's started playing up this last day or 2, I have an after market alarm. When I press the key fob only the drivers door unlocks/locks and alarm deactivates The passenger side and boot doesn't even sound like it's trying. When I put the key in the drivers door, it'll only unlock that door, and nothing in the passenger side or boot. Any ideas what would be the cause? Drivers actuator? (But boot still doesn't unlock from passenger door) Or control module behind the glovebox?
  7. I phoned team McMillan, $143 including gst not as expensive as I would have thought
  8. Apologies if this is the wrong section for this. I'm thinking about bringing in a few of the front lips to suit the e36 m3 front bumper. I can get them from the uk. What do these normally sell for? I've never seen one for sale. I want one but if I have the opportunity to get a few, and sell them on, I may just do that.
  9. Hi, would like a set of fresh light grey / silver leather seats to suit e36 coupe. Any for sale?
  10. Got a new regulator and motor from Brent and now all sweet. Cheers
  11. Possibly got another faulty motor... Just fitted a spare battery I had directly to the motor and it was the same, 1 click, and nothing else. Do you have any motors for sale?.... Which are definitely working
  12. yeah had a good fiddle with that and it was no different, no movement at all
  13. Sent you a message there, thinking about selling my 95 e36 coupe 328i manual in estorial blue, full silver (light grey) leather, full M3 kit inc suspension (ive been told), 17inch sunflower rims
  14. Hi, My drivers window had been intermittent for the last few weeks, working somethings, not other time, then one time it came to a halt, about a quarter of the way up, and wouldn't move again. When i pressed the button i would hear 1 audible 'click' from the motor, but nothing happens then. I replaced the motor with one from the scrapyard and greased all channels, everything was free flowing. fitting everything to the door and the window went all the way up and down a few times, but would not learn where top and bottom were. after a few ups and downs the new motor stopped a quarter of the way up again, and again is dead , other that 1 click upon pressing the button. Would this issue be something else other than the motor/reg? I've swapped the switch too to no avail. any ideas on where to get a motor/reg if i require it?
  15. Where do you get this fabric paint from? Any recommended brands to get a good finish?

    E36 headliner

Have 2 e36 coupe headliners in grey for sale. Non sunroof. 1 is PERFECT, the other has a few very light marks that would likely clean up, I haven't tried yet. $120 for the minty one, $100 for the lightly dirty one. Will not fit a sedan or hatchback Pics to follow, drop me a message if interested. Philip.
  18. Wwiggans.co.nz , they're based in manukau. It was around $100 for enough to do headlining, then they sell the glue as well
  19. Selling off a few items on trademe, A pair of e36 amber indicator lights, and an off cut of foam backed headlining material. The off cut is not big enough to do a car roof but is enough to retrim all your pillars. Also have mercedes w202 wing mirror and multifunction stalk Click the link for more info http://www.trademe.co.nz/Members/Listings.aspx?member=3082182
  20. E36 manual gearknob? Black preferred, and genuine please, not aftermarket
  21. A previous owner put an aftermarket gearknob in my car but I want a standard e36 manual 5speed shifter. Must be in good nick. Please
  22. Got some 3mm foam backed material and bostik supertak spray adhesive and retrimmed my headliner a few days ago. ... Looks brilliant! I'm very happy. And that sunroof interior panel was a bitch to figure out, but it can be removed without removing the complete sunroof cassette. Will get up some pics at some stage
  23. Just called them, they reckon 45buck per meter plus gst. And I would need 2.5 meter. Plus postage to Auckland So approx $150 for material plus p&p, then another 90 or so on glue hmmmmm
