a question relating to this, my car often idles too low when cold this may sound silly but lets say you give it some revs let go and the rev needle drops back down a lil too low and the car shudders as if stalling. kinda annoying and possibly unhealthy, i was thinking it was to do with the automatic choke any other ideas??

like bimmerboy said this is a public forum and therefore it is hard to control and i think andy and the team have done really well, rules are rules but certain people forget them, if it has to come down to people being banned then do it if a post is inappropraite delete it but who has time to read everything? my view on the matter is : (and this is inspired by the link dave posted for that engine talk topic forum). when a serious topic is started whoever starts it should lay down specific rules for this topic and hopefully they will be followed, maybe this will stop good topics getting ruined, on the other hand people who start stupid topics run the risk of their topic being deleted or simply no one will reply to it, cos i certainly don't bother clicking on 'sh*t'. i'd hate to see this site go, and i was really looking forward to meeting people and their cars at meets, autocross, cruises etc... this can work, bimmerboy said it was a public forum so why have things like (private member meets)!! if there is a meet it will be official and organised by the staff and private things can be discussed elsewhere, there are over 100 people here so as far as meetings go i'd have to say that what the staff or andy arranges amongst themselves is final and wont be adjusted to fit around shelley's kindergarten timetable or the like. anyway i feel i have written more than enough for you guys to read and hope that what i've said you can all agree on. if andy has to close the site for a few days to clean it up then i'm happy with that, these are just ideas. i hope that it all sorts itself out.

when did you win lotto dave? if you don't mind me asking how much did all this cost? i run 98 anyway, the timing advance is something i am interested in, andrew is this something i could do myself if not how much does this cost?

angus my boy if you are keeping those side skirts i don't think that front mud flaps would fit! anyway if you do still get them i can help you fit them i made all my own brackets out of aluminium.

an air horn you say! it may be rice, but it's hidden under the hood and it's loud as f#*k! and the switch is discrete.

this is something i decided to do and yes it does help especially at traffic lights and at high speeds, if you are interested in doin this and have any q's just ask. air intake modification

or how about the standard ones, they're only door sill afterall they're for wiping the mud off your shoes so you don't get it on your carpet.

i need your opinions i can a. pay $25 and get a bmw double switch to replace the single rear fog switch or i can pay $2 for a nice little after market switch. what shall i do?

don't get the ///m ones, is there an m anywhere under your bonnet or anywhere else on your car?

find a wrecked e30 maybe at turners wrecked car auctions get dimensions and mounting points and shape from that, and then design your own kit relevant to an m-tech1 or 2 kit maybe using dimensions from them also.

no surrounds sorry. yes they come on at one click, two click and three click and need to get a double switch from the wreckers that replaces the single rear foglight switch. failing that i'll install an aftermarket one. cheers
