  1. I had to raise the car a few mm and adjust the shocks stiffer due to rubbing in the rear under load and simply driving through corners..

Just drove it through Whitford to test and ive still got some rubbing in the rear im thinking i have to get some thinner tyres ive currently got 215/45's might have to go to 205/40's all around.. Any ideas ? firmer springs ?

  2. Thanks for the comments guys, this shouldn't of taken this long but we all know how these garage projects go..

Would i do it again ?

Yes, as long as your car isn't a daily driver, I will admit i learnt a bit more about my car and how things work. I spent about $2500 for new parts (AKG bushes, M3 brakes +control arm, whiteline sway bars, coilovers etc.) which i reckon is quite reasonable considering all the parts i changed.

If you wanted just the brakes upgrade i would advise to check out massive brakes 4 stud brake kit - a lot less hassle IMO.

Next project will have some boost B)

  3. All Done! have to do a few minor tweaks but nothing major.. Drove it down the road and you can really feel everything with these AKG bushes.

Just need to finish the centre caps and get locking nuts.

  4. Its been awhile since last post, Cars finally on its new wheels. Took me long enough but have been finding so hard to find the time. Thanks to Mike & Leith @ Synthe for sticking around a bit later today to fit my tyres/wheels.

Now have to tinker with ride height, find the exhaust leak, and re-bleed the brakes over the weekend. Will post pics up this Saturday :D

  5. Everything is done apart from the wheels and front sway bar, tried to install the white line sway bar and it's pretty tight bushes don't seem to fit that well in factory cups may have to rethink the strategy here. Anyone have any ideas?

Going to finish the wheels tomorrow and it should be on the ground early next week.

  6. Have to make some room from stuff out of my E30:

    E30 325i 20mm Front Sway bar w/ used nolathane bushes - $60

E30 325i 12mm rear sway bar - best bang for buck for any of you 316i, 318i or 320i owners that dont have a rear swaybar. $50

Bilstein Stamped Front Pads with good meat $20

    E30 Roof Racks $80

    Thanks,

  7. Update:

I purchased new White line sway bars 24mm front 16mm adjustable rear, and red line diff fluid.

Managed to get the whole rear end is all back in, tried wheels on the back and the new offset is sweet ! installing the sub frame and trailing arms was a tricky job - on your own. Note: Get a friend to help you with this!

    To do this week:

    -Install Front sway bar

    -Install G/box & engine mounts

    -Bleed brakes

    -Re bolt exhaust

    -Finish assembling the wheels.

    And its done !
