I just had a look at http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=14378 today. Took it for a drive as well. It seems to be in good condition. Just got some questions for you guys... 1) Does anyone else know about this car? 2) E30 325, how economical are they? Full tank of gas - how many kms? 3) I noticed that the brakes squeaked, and the owner said something about its just the way the brakes are in that car. He did have them checked before, but it might be the design of the pads? 4) Can these cars run on 91 octane? 5) Can anyone recommend any bmw specialists in the howick/botany area who could inspect this car for me? or should I just take her to a VTNZ station and see how she goes thru for the wof check?

Two years ago, I nearly bought the black E30 320 with the 4agze (I think that was the engine) in it. I ended up buying a ek civic. Till this day, I think what if if I had bought the E30... Anyway, I am planning to sell the civic soon. I amstarting to look around at the E30s again. I have seen a few on tradme. So, how much would I be looking at paying for a E30 with a mtech kit, good and looked after condition for its age, preferred manual with leather and sunroof. Must have sunroof!! My budget is around 5grand. ( Man, I had 9gs to spend when I was looking at the 4agze 320 )

that website E30tech had some info on it but I also read on some other forum that about the absence of knock sensors. This post relates to my earlier post on the red e30 coupe with momo sport mags. It was for sale not too long ago. I know that e30 was supercharged. I just cant get over that awesome sweet noise and hearing it coming from a sacked e30 is just too much. If it was an e30 m3, I probably would have masturbated on the spot.

I have done a search for supercharging a 325 but havent come up with much. I have looked for E30 supercharging kits on google but no luck so far. I have also tried searching on this forum but no luck again. I was hoping someone could direct me to some old threads regarding supercharging and what else needs to be upgraded in a E30 325 for supercharging. thanx

Yes its that sexy Ferrari Red E30 coupe, sacked out on momo sports wheels, with the whinning noise coming from the engine. I saw this car ages ago at the Mobil station in town. It had a '4 sale' sticker on it. I approached the guy, I think his name was Simon. We had a little chat about the car, I was really interested in buying it and I had the cash for it, got his number and I was on my way. Texted him a few days later but the car was sold. I was gutted. That was about a year ago. Just a few days ago, I was in Pauanui. We had just parked up at the surf club. I was on my way to the beach when I heard that whinning noise again. I turned around and there she was. Still the same mags, the beautiful glossy red paint, still sacked on her ass. I called out to my mate who was ahead of me to turn around and have a look. When he did, his jaw hit nearly the ground. Anyway, this car is one of the most beautiful and unique E30 I have ever seen in real life. Just wanted to know if anyone had any pics of this car and some details on the engine. All I know its supercharged which is very unique.
