  1. Would have bought it in a heartbeat if it was in Christchurch. Just wasn't viable for me if I factored in flight tickets, checks, petrol, ferry cost. GLWS though!

Carefull what ya wish for - it could maybe be organised for Easter, as I'm doing a trip to Oamaru - feel free to convince me to bring the 540, rather than a Landcruiser.....

  2. Trademe Discussions. That's what this part of the forum is for.

People post up trademe auctions they find interesting for everyone to discuss. Price is ALWAYS going to be discussed as the items are for sale. If you can't grasp this. Don't view this part of the forum because there will be opinions you won't agree with.

Primo, as personally I think Ray / Glenn were being rather harsh really....................... ;)

  3. Haha, serviced today as well, she is good to go :P

Your 540 has 8 cylinders, thus 'she' is a 'he' - estrogen is more commonly found in the lesser models, thus they can be 'she'............. ;)

Can't believe you're selling it after getting it sorted & nice............:)

  4. you arent wrong.

But meanwhile i have two businesses to support, and TradeMe is where the customers are. Lost sales by listing exclusively on Wheedle etc are a LOT more than the cost of TradeMe fees... and TradeMe know it

Awww, I dunno - theres various real estate companies that have said 'Up yours' to reTardeme................& good on them I reckon!!!!!

  5. So the concerned bystander runs to the RH side of the car, and helps out the blonde. Then looks back inside and thinks LHD??

Then the gomer in the baseball cap ( reversed of course...) gets out and seems more concerned about the car than the blonde, who seems in the mood to bugger off straight away. I`d say Gomer was taking dad`s car for a spin....?

Cracking up bigtime @ this.............Mainland perspective is kooooool................ ;):D

Yea, not even a decent look at the blonde seat-warmer, but as a bonus, looks like smoke alarm batteries need changed........

And that's not 'airborne' - wannabes............

  6. Might wanna tell your wahine to lighten up a bit & stop being so rough on the poor thing - if shes the typical good southern girl feel free to let us know how THAT conversation pans out for ya ae.......... ;):D:)

Good score on it nor being too serious though........

Ahh sweet, will try ring a few places today then. And I'm in Dunedin unfortunately Amber-Leigh

Yea, I dunno - theres not much unfortunate about being in Dunedin.............its not all bad!! :)

  7. I hate to say it Mojo but you should have bought my car :P but you musn't listen to Blue, he's just an old fogey who thinks his dinosaur is the duck's whatsits. Such anti-3 series behaviour is disgraceful, I hope his fuel tank develops a big(ger) hole!

Awww, that's rough - I'm not THAT old ae....................

And the sound of it is well worth every single cent of fuel it uses........... :D:wub::wub:

  8. Washed it. Half a hr ago. In the dark............. (well, the big blue tart has been gathering dust in the shed, I've got a 6am start in the morn, & bugger it, I'm gonna use it for a change!! High odds I'll get to work bit quicker than what I have all this week via SWB Cruiser........).

Mmmmm - its clean, & even dried with a towel - looks yummy........................:wub::wub:;):D

  9. ;) The bourbon glasses are maybe slightly on, but I've heard a wild rumour that on the 11th day God made this thing called a NON-VANOUS 540I BMW (ok, he messed round for a few days creating women, Fords, Holdens, & 3 series / 6 cylinder BMW's......... ;) ) that in perspective, goes like a cut-cat & does'nt give too much brain-damage (unlike what he'd been up to on previous days.............)

Was sinking coupla amber Fanta's with The Stig the other night, contemplating the current northern issue, & she reckoned the 328 is much like the 318 ya had, only it's got 1000 more potential issues..........

Hang in there dude - you'll beat it yet.............. ;):)

  10. Yea mate, been away lots working, & seem to be working when not away too.........so just a quiet boy in general outside that lately. Yea, it'd be nice to keep it in a ideal world, but high odds there'll be something with 2 wheels taking its space instead..........I don't get to use it much because of the work I do & it's a waste of time having it sitting here as convenient for other people to use if/when they need a vehicle.
