Earlier this year i was selected to feature in the CRC Speedshow with my SR20DET E30,
That led on to Marcus from New Zealand Performance Car mag seeing it where he rang Carl Ruiterman to get my number and rung me to organise a full feature in the mag.
2 and a half hours of photo's, a good yarn and a bit of waiting my bmr i built made it in the NZPC mag.
I know its not a lot of your guys (and girls) cup of tea but if your interested its in the mag out in shops right now (issue 202)

My e30 at the moment running 12psi at a 65% tune is putting out 270hp at the wheels and has done a 13.42 at night speed on all 4 chromes. was doing 174.something km/h at the speed trap.
still in need of retune at higher boost etc but not bad for now.
Mine is now making 268.7kW, around 360hp at the wheels, 98 octane @ 18psi. Car is tuned to give it a hard time and safely handle it so has more in it if i wanted to push it (but i dont).
Weighed car and full tank and babys car seat was 1200kg on the dot.
Will find out ET when the track is finished at meremere and race at winter wars.

The whole STANCE and HELLA FLUSH look is the reason they brought in the new camber law. Camber cannot be more or less than half a degree from factory specifications.
I found this out the hard way when certing my E30, had to make a few changes as the rule applies to every car make and model, If you lower it it has to be within the allowable factory specs +/- half a degree to try and stop the guys going extreme with the STANCE look

I fitted my under dash filler panel above pedals in my e30, gave it a big birthday inside and out and went for a 2hour photoshoot as a feature car in new zealand performance car mag
-
You should get that checked if your speedo reads less than your actual speed. Mine is the same, just the other way around.., which isn't as bad I guess? :S Speedo says 60, when electric speed signs detect ~52, and my GPS detects about 52-53. About 6-8km/h off. Always assumed that's just how it should be for 'safety' or something, didn't know something can cause this - maybe should check it too.
Mine is the same, Car is moving around 8km/h slower than speedo reads and im running 18" wheels

Not after new ones, just want a pair of semi slicks for my e30 for the winter wars coming up at the end of july at meremere, maybe some that are still usable from the series racers?
Thanks

Iv got a problem with my 1989 E30 indicators.
I thought it may have been the flasher relay but that was a fail.
Whats happening is when i signal left it works normal and fine, but when i signal right, the 3pin flasher relay on steering colum humms and no indicator light goes. The hazard lights dont work aswel.
Iv tried replacing the relay but still does the same thing, iv tried replacing the hazard light switch but that does nothing either. has anyone had this problem or know the answer to my problem?
Cheers

Why such an in your face front mount setup?
No hate, I am honestly just curious as to why people butcher the front of their car ( Nissans incl ) just to have a big front mount
EDIT: ^^^ That sounds real cunty.. Sorry. I think you get what im trying to say haha
Haha nah doesnt sound c*@ty at all, im open to opinions, did you ever see my old 1? had big shiney front mount and bumper was in 2 seperate bits. thought it was cool at the time but just looks wrong to me now. id be bullshitting if i said to get the full benifit out of the cooler, just like the look of the big mouth up front and think it gives it a tougher look (my preferance) but yeah if its done wrong it just looks sh*t like the white one on trademe atm all crooked and covering half the kidneys etc

The camera doesnt realy show the pearl too well but you get the idea of it
