Anyone ever dealt with BMW Parts Online (Ladies Miles Motors Co. Ltd) in Ellerslie?
-
Gave the starter motor a light tap with a hammer and viola, damn thing started. I guess brushes maybe shot. So the hammer is a main stay in my boot for the meantime till I sort out the starter motor
-
Thanks. At this stage I'm hoping it's just the relay otherwise time to look for a starter motor
-
Anyone out there who can quickly point out where the starter relay is for an M20 E30? I found two relays on the side of the airbox, one blue and one white relay

Hmm...why can't I upload pics?? Anyway, here's the link http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2r7u7gm&s=5

Bottom part of my front guards are now showing some rust (near the front doors). Paint condition on the guards are still mint. Is it advisable and practical just to have the rusted part repaired or change the guards and have them painted?

Ive actually dyed my blue leather recaros to dark gray about 3 months ago. I use VHT vinyl dye then applied some leather conditoner a couple of days later. it turned out pretty good So far no fading

Mag and tyre still sells them at $799 if im not mistaken. decent looking reps, actually bought a set of 15x8 earlier this year. But they only do 15 inch, was really after 16's. Good point on the insurance btw

Around $25, there's the bosch and tridon brand. Went for the bosch ones. Funny thing is, idling is now all good but car now tends to hard start when engine is warm or after long drive. Might be the coil going bad or something else
-
Just replaced the temperature sensor (blue plug) this morning, resistance of the old one was way off. idle is now smooth at 600 rpm. Hopefully car will consume less petrol now since previous idle was between 700-800rpm

So landed cost for a set of 16x8 (at US$195 each) would be around $1360. That's $1030 wheels + $120 freight + $210 duty/taxes (http://www.whatsmyduty.org.nz/). Did I miss any other charges/fees?
-
Sounds good. Any idea on the lead time and taxes?
-
How much freight do you reckon it will cost?

Still looking for an MTECH 2 steering wheel.

Check out these listings http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-...n-607660689.htm http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-...n-607659193.htm I just think they are bit pricey though, considering they are reps. I would personally choose ESM if I have the money to spare

Tried several relays but still didn't fix the problem. Guess it's time to take out the motor tomorrow
