    2005 E46 M3

    Nice.... I want one!!!
  2. Actually the only goal here is to be able to fit a 16 inch basketweaves rims at the least possible cost. Haven't had any luck to find some 16" RS reps
  3. Good point but will that also mean brake and suspension conversion?
  4. Any idea on the cost to have them re-drilled?
  5. Thanks, that's good to know. I do believe the back are flat. Next concern is the centre bore though
  6. Yeah, I know what you mean. Took me a few seconds before I actually saw the wheels on the pics Anyway, I got the idea from this http://www.justacargeek.com/2010/08/1989-b...done-right.html
  7. I know these wheels are 5x120 but I'm just wondering if anyone has successfully fitted these on an E30 by re-drilling the holes. Also, is it safe re-drilling wheels?
  8. Anyone out there selling a good set of seats for a E30 sedan. Recaro or Standard fabric seat
  9. HI, how much for the muffler/exhaust
  10. Any one out there selling a set of RS reps for an e30?
  11. Looks great! Are those 15 or 16 inch wheels?
  12. Looking good! Where did you get those BBS reps and do they come with centre caps?
  13. Finally retrofitted a cruise control to my 2000 E46 328i with a M52TU motor. First of all, big thanks to Glenn and Joe .I have to admit that before starting out with this retrofit, I was a bit skeptic and was only expecting a 20-30% success rate since the retrofit kit only list the following engines;M54, N47 AND M54, M57 and M47tu engines . On top of that,,most of the cruise control retrofit I see on the web are for DRIVE BY WIRE and not for throttle cabled E46s. Anyway I was told that the worst scenario after the fitting kit is that the cruise control will simply not work (assuming you’ve done everything properly). So I did a bit of research and found out that M52TU has a motorized throttle body (MDK) which performs the following function Precision intake air control • ASC control • MSR control • Cruise control • Preset position during engine start up (if temperature is < 0ºC) “The MDK control function is integrated into the Siemens MS42.0 ECM. The ECM carries this function out by regulating the engine throttle valve†From what I understand here, the cruise control function is already built in the ECM (no coding needed). The throttle cable actuates the throttle sensor (which is integrated in the MDK) and sends signal to the ECM. So after arming myself with these info and bit of luck, I’ve set out to find a 3 spoke multifunction steering wheel from Ray at HellBM and retrofit wiring harness from Team McMillan. All in all, it cost me around $400. I followed the instructions on the retrofit kit and Jason’s post as well as another from e46 fanatics http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=30917 http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=544160 Now, in connecting the cruise control wire to the ECM (single blue wire). Since the retrofit instructions doesn’t list the M52TU. I took a chance in connecting it to PIN 27. I found this forum from the UK where this guy successfully retrofitted a cruise control to a M52TU by connecting the cruise control wire to PIN 27 http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showt...rol-Help-please Reconnected everything, started the car and…..EML + ASC dash lights went off !. Thanks to Glenn and Joe, found out that I mixed up the connectors on the DME box while reconnecting them (DUH!). Ok, take 2….after reconnecting everything (properly), started the car, drove off and VOILA! Cruise control is working! Just in time for the long drive this easter:D A word of caution, although I've done my share of research on this, please proceed at your own risk
  14. Tried that one but still no joy. I've also tried resetting the fault before and after the doing the up and down with the pedals
  15. Not having a good week. Was about to leave this morning, turned on the ignition and EML and ASC lights up, car won't start. Use a scan tool and P0120 and P0220 errors comes up. Tried erasing the fault but no luck. Any ideas???

    Need help

Was too lazy to use a socket wrench to bolt back the steering wheel. Use impact gun instead, didn't realized that the nut was misaligned when I put it on!!!

M14X1.5 tap and die did the trick !!!
  20. Hi, do you still have the upper steering column?

    Need help

Manage to stripped the bolt/shaft where steering wheel bolts on The nut that holds the steering wheel (which is also stripped) is M14x1.5. I'm considering re-threading the bolt/shaft with a tap and die set which I know very little of. Should I use a M14x1.5 die on the shaft/bolt???
