Quick update. I "smoked" the tails and indicators today using tamiya model paint, but ran out doing the tailights therefore arent as dark as was intending. I reckon it looks a hole lot better. What do you think? Tints are to come soon... Cheers

Havent spotted any rust... the whole exterior had a respray a couple years ago. As ugly as a tow bar is.... it is too convienient as i am often moving round motorcross bikes.

Haha na, im gunna try keep as different as possible. Just need new ideas on how to make a touring look mint without doing everything jase has done

1989 e30 320i touring Manual. I missed my old e30 so much that i just had to get another one. To do list in the future (when funds allow): m20b25 Tints Different wheels Lowering the front more Tech 2 kit, or IS front lip with skirts and a rear. Recaro seats tinted indicators/rear lights. Cheers

The paint job is immaculate and perfect for a young driver being a 1.6 manual. Miss it heaps allready. I didnt think i would get 5k for it either, but ended up having 3 people interested in it with cash. The first in with cash was a guy from cambridge. Glad it hasnt gone to far

Haha im hear now. Beter late than never. I did mine by taping it up and using alot of newspaper.... took ages though as i was being real fussy and didnt want any overspray or any in the gutters on the roof etc. Turned out prety good part from when you open the door you can see the chrome underneath.... most people wouldnt notice but little things like that piss me off. And was pretty hard to sand properly without scuffing my nice new paint job I used matt black and the colour is pretty close to the original mouldings. If i were to do it agen i would take them off and do it all properly.
