Congrats mate, mint car. Love it, nearly crash each time I see it parked up opposite Parnell Rose Gardens. Saw this in Mission Bay this evening, thought id post it considering we were talking about them not that long ago. http://www.carjam.co.nz/car/?plate=EKY68 Mint looking car, older lady driving it, had to look twice to make sure it was an M5

^ Yeh I have a feeling he bought some of my stuff off trademe, bald guy, with tattoes and glasses. He drove a brand new black Range Rover on Black rims with a single letter number plate. Saw this today http://www.carjam.co.nz/car/?plate=BMM6 Saw it in Parnell parked up, seen it there before. Looks in Mint condish.

Saw this today. http://www.carjam.co.nz/car/?plate=T Was the coolest thing I think I've ever seen, on the back it had Rockin Rolls on the tail gate. It was enormous, parked up in Glen Innes (of all places), no offence to anyone living in Glen Innes. But it seemed out of place.

Is that at the top of shore road and broadway? At the entrance to the domain?

A friend of mine did a Pre-purchase inspection with the AA when he bought his Subaru, (it was down in Hastings and hes in Auckland), when he went down to pick it up as AA said everything was fine with it, they stated on the report that it wasn't a smokers car (it was), their was bits of trim missing etc etc. 2 weeks later his engine blew up! Called the AA, and told them they went back through thier records and agreed that a refund was in order, of $1500!! That was just for the interior as they don't cover or refund for mechanical mishaps. Just call Jeff Grey and persuade them that you need a refund or they pay for it to be fixed

I've actually talked to this guy about getting this car, because I was interested in buying it, but I am heading overseas next year on a student exchange for a year, so not much point in buying. Anyway, I believe the quote he got of $1200 was from HellBM a sponsor on here, if you talked to him or someone else on here I'm sure they wouldn't mind towing the car over to HellBM workshop maybe for a couple of boxes of beer then getting the gearbox done and then you picking it up. Up to you really but if it were me I'd be heading down that track

I would suggest getting this - http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-254589910.htm Although the gearbox is gone if you got it for a grand then, put a new automagic box in it, or a manual one then you could have a very nice E30 320i, a little more gutsy than a 318i and plus the pre facelift 318i and 316i had the M10 engine, and lets just say its not quite as technologically advanced as the M20 like in the 320i. And plus that one has black leather mmmmm.

^^ 3rd repost in this thread My favourite Turbo E30 Looks mint with Matt Black
-
hmm they just don't look...quality? They don't look like they've been just smoked, they look heap and aftermarket if you ask me. Just my 2c
-
I thought they were moving it in the 1st photo, by I realised by the second. Hahahah genuis or stupid. Im not sure

The front is good looking no doubt about it, but the back looks too much like a new seven series. Its like the designer has got really passionate about it at the front but by the time he gets to the back hes got bored and stolen the rear end from the 7 series. Theres nothing wrong with the rear end of the even series, but this car's design isn't very exciting, if you know what I mean

Never really liked those tail lights on the E30 M3, seem to be on all the Middle Eastern M3's. They looks dare I say it ricer? Just don't look right
-
Wow that would so down buzz $110,000 US hmmmm I can thing of a hundreds of things I would rather do to an E30 with that kind of money. Hahah I bet he was just riding it around to show it off, mind you I would
-
bloody hell don't see many of those. I've seen one here in NZ. Sound so awesome, so much win
-
You never know, some people have no idea what their car is worth, Don't be too much of a tyre kicker though . Its hot no doubt about it. If you sell your car and this is still avaliable offer cash, people love cash in hand haha. edit: its up at $4,800 now
-
Very nice, agreed it would look nice a bit lower, with 35% tints and a manual conversion. The body is in great shape though, sell your E30 and but it Brook.

I would be so keen on this car, if I weren't going away next year. Although It won't have much power it'd be a pretty cool daily in manual
