Re Exhaust in the meantime disconnect the flapper valve, so both pipes are open. It makes a significant change. That mod plus cats out is enough for most, and people have regretted going more than that

Gavin Dyno tunes ,hes not a magician if you want bigger numbers you will need bolt ons. Downpipes, intercooler , intake etc . And a lot more than 2K

The crew at BM Workshop Grey Lynn are great guys. But note with PPI's many things still can't be seen.

Hi I have a basic Bavarian Technic cable and I am connecting to a 07 335i E91 N54. When using the program it the shows cable connected and I can access the modules in the left hand menu and read codes. But when I select Condition Based Service , it says reading vehicle data, then shows a blank screen and says data read out on the bottom left corner. I should be able to see oil lever ,brake wear etc.Your help would be appreciated. Cheers

I have been using youshop for my ecs stuff and other bits and consolidating with great results

Laughably skinny yes but surprisingly grippy. Obvioulsy made for the limits of the car and no more. I would still have 275s all around

I got taken for a ride in an i3 this morning, very impressed! So quiet, instant torque , 0-70 faster than a stock 335i. Not the best looker but i really liked the interior.

If you use Auckland Airports Park n Ride they will never touch your car. I would rather pay a bit extra than have some pleb drive my car

I also run the bms intake. General consensus its the best bang for buck intake, and the afe offers no advantage.

If he wants to keep it stockish probably not much point, there won't be any performance gain. Little to gain from removing secondary cats, to get any benefit from removing the primary's you will need an aftermarket tune to run. Its very tight in there so wouldn't recommend anything other than aftermarket downpipes. I like many other 335 owners on here will warn you. Once you pop you can't stop,

That it does, I have read nearly all of them. I have replaced both turbos to remedy with no success.

Agree , but easier said than done. The usual bmw mechanics can't do it.

I am wanting to wrap my 335i aftermarket downpipes. Not for performance but to see if it will help reduce some rattle they amplify over stock pipes. Googling gives me a lot of conflicting advice, lots of people say the wrap will hold moisture and corrode the metal. Surely as a daily driver any moisture will be vapourised?

Noted But calm down every one, just for a couple of pulls. I don't think the squad cars are on there way. If I am organising for 100+ cars I'll hire a helicopter and scanners like in the movies

Can anybody recommend some spots in Auckland for some long straight pulls. Need to do some data logging, long, straight, flat and quiet
