I was actually meaning like a new born's one. My partner has helpfully suggests if I can fit one in the E30 he'll swap me my coupe for his honda. so someone PLEASE TELL ME I CAN GET A CARSEAT IN THE E30!!!!

I have a question, has any body managed to easily get a carseat in to an E30 coupe? I reckon it's possible but basically want to know if it's too much of a mission or not. If it is I may have to buy a four door... darn.

I would have to say coupe, but then again, biased I guess. I am alot happyer with my 2 doors now I have genuine BMW seats in, which move forward enough so people can actually get in the back seat, lol.

Yeah, silly boy ! We've bled the brakes and they are feeling heaps tighter, I hope that's a good thing! We're gonna take it for a drive and see how things go. Hopefully back for the re re check tomorrow

Grr!! Failed WOF on 'spongy brakes'. The brake pedal doesn't touch the floor and I havn't had a problem with them. I suppose they know what they are talking about. Going to bleed the brakes tonight ( I have no idea what that means, but boyfriend is going to show me ) and see if it makes a difference.

It's just my opinion, but I think that is an amazing idea. Like others have mentioned, the finance companies will not be happy and will more than likely take steps to reposess the vehicle after just one or two notices - and are unlikely to give finance to the same person again. This means they'll have to save up for new wheels - hopefully growing up a little in the mean time.

I want to buy an original BMW steering wheel that will fit my 323i. The steering wheel that is in it at the moment is horrible! So I decided it would be quite cool to have an original steering wheel. I'm also looking for front seats for same car. Sounds lame, but the seats at the moment are too high and I can't see the speedo without ducking down and taking my eyes of the road. Seriously. All you need to do is report them through the 'Community Watch' link at the bottom of the page and if they are dodgy they'll be gone quicker than you can blink I've found the Trade Me team are pretty on to it if you report that kinda stuff.

That's good to hear, I am pretty ignorant when it comes to cars - but I'm learning!! Took it for a warrant on Sat and only failed on a couple of things (although one of those was full beam not operating - I get straight in the car and turn the full beams on - the inspector had pulled out the knob but was turning it around expecting Full Beam to come on, instead he was just dimming the dash lights. I had to tell him you had to pull the lever as well) mostly things like seats being a bit wobbly, the boot catch was loose etc. My boyfriend is showing me how to fix these things and it will be back in for a Warrant on Tuesday... Fingers crossed!
