  1. really short driving to shops / bus stop car park aprox 6-7km / litre from my e36 320i
  2. Yup its normal the inner ones have the parklights and highbeams. the outter ones are your normal driving lights i think. Have u tried using the thing in your dash to change the angle of lights?
  3. Hey, Was looking at my cars rear bumper and noticed that it seemed to have dropped. Found 2 screws on the side sin the wheel arch and the "bumper" came off. Didn't actually know that the people before me or before them had stuck on "kit" thingy (idk what they're called im real noob when it comes to cars.). They used 2 screws and that black glue stuff used everywhere else on the car. Atm I can't decided if I want to put it back on or remove the glue and make it stock again except its missing the diffuser. But i just want to clean that black gunk off for now. Any advice? Pics of what I mean.
  4. Part Number: 51-47-8-234-047-M9 i think. Need probably about 8 of them. Don't know how much they're worth tho.
  5. Hi, Just noticed that after i close my doors the window isn't sitting flush against the weatherstrip anymore. Checked the weatherstrip, took it off and put it back on and it appears that its fitted correctly but there is still a little gap which is clearly visible from the outside. Has anyone else come across this problem before?

Apparently they're Sennheiser CX-500 Black Headphones dnt know much about them but these are probably fakes too...:S im using a pair now as my dog decided to chew my ipods headphones (beagles for you..) and i think they have better bass than my ipod ones. If anyone is interested in them. let me know. $30 Each for the headphones with free postage.
  10. Oh and can someone please tell me how to locate the air con drain area cause I noticed today while testing my air on in the garage I left it on for about 5-10 mins running and looked under the car but no puddle.. went away for a while and came back and noticed that underneath the carpet was damper. I think the drain isn't connected or its clogged. Where about should I be looking to find it ifs clogged? Thanks for the help so far everyone:D
  11. I used a rubber stick to break up the leaves and dried gunk, then used my vacuum. To clear the rubber drain I did what they suggested in the post above with the link. Used a bit of wire and pushed it thru a little first, then pushed it against the side of the rubber to pull it down. Managed to remove a lot of gunk by doing that but took a while to move my hands in the tight spots

  13. Yea followed those. Found 1 with the rubber drain but when i was feeling around for another i just found a hole that when into the area where the heater core motor was so i am now assuming that thats were the other one was supposed to be? based on the images from that page with the 2 drains i think im just missing the rubber pipe there.
  14. Okay so today I dedicated myself to fix any possible blocks in the drains for some basic maintenance. Did my sunroof, doors and i think my scuttle/cowell drain. I have read lots of different forum posts all over the internet and noticed that some cars have 3 drains some have 2 while others have 1... from my inspection I could only find 1 noticeable scuttle drain right behind the cylinder heads. Since my car is a 1994 coupe, are there 2 or 3 scuttle drains or just the 1 that i managed to get to..? Really wanna give the others a good clearing if there are more cause the 1 i have cleared so far was disgusting and full of moist crap..
  15. Sennheiser CX-500 Black Replica Headphones Dad bought home another box of stuff from the cleared out office. 16. You must have a gotten a really good e36 before you switch to your nice e46. I really wanna do the same but im sticking to my e36 for a another year or so. I don't have any real leaks i think as I checked under the carpets nw and no water but i think its just a few drips that get in as I don't have the condensation seals under the door panel as mine never came with em.... and i think theres a minor gap in the seal on the windscreen cause that condenses first always.
  17. Hi, where did u find those instructions to check the pipes? I've been searching the net but i think i mite be using the wrong words.
  18. Sweet thanks for the info. I may take my door cards off get some plastic sheet to act as a condensation seal. Will this be good enough to keep some moisture out of the car?
  19. Sweet I'll take a look at checking that out as well. I read that it is quite hard on the back? From the instructions i've read I just need to remove the glove box to make it easier, and then disconnect the duct pipes and i should be at the filter?
  20. Sweet thanks. Will do this sometime this week when I am able to kick my dads car outside.
  21. Whenever it rains even just a little bit my car builds up with a lot of condensation on all the windows. Basically i can't see in or out of my car. I think one of the main problems is because I don't have the plastic condensation seals on my doors from the drivers and pass doors. Would this be my main problem as I don't see any leaks anywhere(checked under carpets also and found no water). Also change my front cowell cover as all the rubber had gone and replaced the quarter window rubbers as well. The car does feel a little damp sometimes but can't find any source of water. Anyone else have any advice. Oh and currently the ac is a bit weak so i intend on getting that serviced and regass soon.
  22. I guess only some people have a problem with it. Im thinking of doing the same ^, just gonna trim mine back for before and see if thats alright. Otherwise I'll just buy a 2nd hand one. Cheers
  23. Umm nah don't wear bulky shoes. Just like adidas casual footwear most of the time, no big bulky work boots or skate shoes etc. I just had a quick look and it appears that everythign appears to be screwed in. but the panel looks a bit warped.. maybe i should buy a replacement and see if that makes it diff.
  24. Just wondering since I have only driven my E36 but I feel kinda uncomfortable with the space between the break pedal and the underdash steering panel. My foot sometimes gets a bit jammed between it and the break. Is this similar to all E36's? or would it be that my underdash panel is sagging a bit too low?
