not for me for a mate to fit my 5 series wheels to a 3 series

Does anyone know where i can get some hubcentric rings to allow 5 series wheels on a 3 series so need 72.6 to 74.1. Thanks

It goes around corners fine with the right wheel alignment and enough time spent with a gaurd roller and a heat gun I have no problems 4 up and a full tankfamily sedan cruiser at its best Spend the money on the right suspension components and you'll always be happy

Recently aqcuired a nice condition falift e39 motorsport with all records and servicing up to date. after a few phone calls and talking to some people in the right places it arrived in my garage after a couple of weeks work and some cursing it now appears into the daylight like this couple of minor adjustments still to come. enjoy......

They will work. i was running 19x9.5 with a 15+ offset with 215/35/19 tyres and they fit fine (yes the tyres are legal to VTNZ specs)

I will try and get some sorted this weekend, just removing at the moment for new install. Have done 120kms......was thinking around $350 ish for the full set

As above have a full set of 530i motorsport struts and springs in good condition 135000 kms. selling as have upgraded suspension. $200. photos below. lowering springs have been removed and factory springs have been re-installed

Yes it needs painting or wrapping but all that carbon fibre OH MY

So trouble shooting time.... I thought the LR window motor was stuffed so removed the window reg etc tested the motor and it all works, window works from master switch but not door switch, tried another switch still doesn't work? so here i am stumped! All lights etc in the door work fine and have checked the fuses and they're all ok any ideas guys.....

as topic states looking for some adjustable suspension for a e39, can swap motorsport suspension with factory or lowering springs plus cash

So I'm looking to fit some wheels to my e39 but as it turns out is not an easy task with the centre bore etc.... So looking for some spacers that will also adapt the centre bore or if anyone knows of someone that could make some up Cheers

Thanks for all your feed back guys....ended up having a whim bid on a 02 530i msport - one owner from import from europe. has been well looked after and had all the necessary servicing / parts repaired. was expecting it to go for a lot higher than it did but picked it up for a bargain. now to find some wheels, damn 5 series and their low offsets

The vehicle will be daily driven and i do trips all over the lower north island, hence querying economy of both......would have thought possibly they would be very similar considering the weight

So i've just parted ways with my e46 and looking to move onto the next beauty.....now this is where my problem lies. Im stuck between a a E39 530 or 540 motorsport. So looking for some peoples insite into these vehicles that have owned them previously as i have always owned japanese vehicles until now so am completely out of my knowledge base here. thanks guys
