I've been monitoring it and it seems like theres two separate leaks. One coming from around the pedals up near the steering shaft and a second one that seems to be coming through the inside of the door. Although the carpet between the door and the floor is dry, theres a huge wet patch on the right side of the foot well and I cannot for the life of me find its source. Could it be coming from underneath? It sometimes fills up even when I'm not driving though?? Such a mystery.

Reckon so? Ideally I don't want to cut any holes for component tweeters.. Maybe just really decent 2-3 way speakers up front and fade out the rear? I just want better quality sound overall.

I've got 4 way Pioneers. They're currently in boxes but I don't want to use boxes. Reckon 6 1/2s on spacers over 6x9s?
-
Can you fit 6x9s in the rear of an E30 without damaging or modifying the rear tray? I've heard you can use universal spacers and fit them that way. Anyone done it?

It's a significant amount and it seems to have gotten worse lately. Will have to have a proper look at the weekend. Doubt it's rust given its garaged history. Won't known for sure till I give it a proper look. Will post pictures.

No deal, he said he couldn't get any in that would fit. Feeeeeeeeck. Ideas?
-
Thanks mate I'll give that a go.

It would appear my E30 has started leaking a bit into the drivers foot well. Its started recently as we've had heavy rain here in Auckland. It seems to be dripping down from somewhere onto the brake pedal. Its getting a bit bad and I wanna nip it in the bud before it gets rusty. Has anyone had leaking issues on the drivers side before? Common problem? Will post a picture later on.

Nice! Thanks dude. Yeah it does, no rev gauge in this puppy lol

Im just after any style factory BMW 5 speed gearknob in good nick. What ya got?

After much thought I've decided to keep the standard motor and keep any mods completely reversible. It'd be a shame to permanently modify what could be one of the tidiest standard E30s in the country.

That rear wing is taaaaasty!

There hasn't been a noticeable change in the clutch firmness or anything so I don't think its anything effecting hydraulic pressure. It just seems odd that it coincided with the car being jacked at one end, like oil in the bellhousing was moved around and went on the clutch or something? Seems to be working fine today, maybe its something that needs to be looked at.

It seems to coincide with the car being jacked up from the rear today getting my wheel balance rechecked. Could there be some oil leaking onto the clutch or something? Just trying to find a reason it just started now??
-
It just started happening today, if I rev it really high and release the clutch its more or less okay, but if I take off normally, the car shudders quite violently. Is this the clutch burning out or another problem? Anyone had this?

Best picture I have for now.

They never came with caps.

It's a 4 door not a coupe. Still undecided what I'm gonna do about the engine but I'm growing increasingly happy with the 1.6 4 banger in there at the moment.

Yeah would have been me heading to work! Thanks haha

I have a centre bore of 73.1 and for the life of me, cannot find BMW centre caps at this size. Suggestions?

I think an insurance assessor would be a bit more thorough given its his employers money at stake.

If it needed certification then I would get certification - if thats what you're getting at?
