Unfortunately those hardtops seem to be impossible to find

I'd far prefer a coupe but this vert is the right price

Thanks for the feedback

Obviously there seems to be a bit of scene tax hitting the market lately. My question is, what is the going rate for an e36 M3? Does the Evo model attract much of a premium? How does a convertible stack up to a coupe pricewise? I'm about to commit to a 6speed Evo vert at what I think is a very good price but your opinions would be appreciated

Hi there, looking for a front lip. BMW, ACS, Reiger etc anything considered
-
It was a euro LHD. LHD doesn't concern me, I've got an american tank too.
-
There seem to be a couple floating around. Very annoyed I missed out on the one "LHD_e36" had as it was both a steal and a keeper. Inevitably it reappeared on trademe a month later for several grand more...

I was gonna put two 20mm sockets in the floor with a chain between themto spread the load. Yeah I'll be making a booth area, still open ceiling but it'll cut down the worst of the overspray. I have approximately one million projects that need paint.

Just leasing although the owner is happy for me to do whatever I like. I've dynabolted everything to the sides so its quite stable, not that I claim to be a builder. I'd like to put some sockets in the floor for a couple of eyes to help me winch dead cars into the workshop as its up a ramp. I'm a bit concerned about the floor strength though as there is a workshop below mine. The big extractor flume is dynabolted down but they would only have to be shallow unlike a 20mm socket to fit an M16 eye bolt

Hey man. Previous tenant had a huge acid bath for stripping varnish off furniture. There's a clean air intake above that workbench. Rather than go through the hassle of removing it I'm gonna turn that corner into a booth to contain all overspray/ welding sparks etc. I may have a buyer for the rx4. The area its in now is where my chev will be going

Made a bit of progress on weekend. Mezzanine / clean room for engines and parts
-
Nice car, where did you get the new front lip?
-
I like the idea of the WAR chips however by the time you land one with AFM and injectors and pay GST on it you're in Link territory anyway.
-
A little out of my price range as a lump sum currently. Will keep an eye on it though. Those turbo kits look pretty hit and miss in a RHD, I'd rather build my own manifold
-
Already got bilsteins/ eibachs, big brakes and a zf 5 speed. An Lsd, some bracing, weight reduction, some more power and it'll be a very fun little car.
-
I dont really have a goal in mind. Pretty much just want my $1500 325 to be on par with an m3 for maybe 5k. I already have a ton of projects so just a cheap opportunistic build ie if I found a cheap turbo capable ecu maybe id take that route. I can fabricate, build motors and do wiring but tuning is still a mystery to me

I got the euro spec cams by mistake. Will be listing them on trademe in the near future. Still on the fence about NA vs FI. Kelford cam's regrinds seem like good value, anyone tried them?
-
Thanks for the advice, I was/am under the impression I can use the S50B30 cams in the M50 head with M50 lifters? I'm not set on turbocharging yet, just floating ideas and keeping an eye out for parts.

I don't wanna spend my budget all at once

Done a fair bit of searching tonight but no solid answers. Scenario is I have a vanos M50b25 in my e36. I have S50 cams on the way from a fellow forum member. Now I can get an m52b28 with low kms quite cheap. Is it worth the effort to build an m50b28 from the two or would I be better off just using the m52 with the m50 manifold? Would the S50 cams fit the M52? Any help or advice will be appreciated
