  1. Hey guys, After any performance parts for my M50B25 Turbo parts, ECUs, injectors etc etc.
  2. I've got Bilsteins, unsure if motorsport or bilstein springs but they handle far better than my other coupes with motorsport struts and lovells/cobras
  3. Aquired my 3rd E36 coupe last night. Getting a bit ridiculous seeing as I'm supposed to be getting rid of cars but too good of a deal to pass up. Has a few good bits
  4. Cosmos schwartz, Not sure exactly what I want to sell off it yet but I've got 3 coupes here Ask away
  5. 2k take it away or I'll wreck it.
  6. I need to get rid of some vehicles, 1993 320i. Bit rough around the edges and missing door cards but tidy leather seats etc. M50B20 6cyl 2L motor. Has been converted to 5spd manual with a M3 type ZF gearbox (worth more than the car) 18" style 166s on cobra springs and M sport suspension. Zender front kit. Handbrake cable broken on one side and has an oil leak. Reg on hold no Wof
  7. The ZF is about the only thing worth owning on it.
  8. It's a bit of a dog but if it wasn't cheap enough I wouldn't have bought it
  9. Bought a cheap and rather rough 320i in the weekend that had been converted to manual, wouldn't start off the battery. Tonight I threw a new battery terminal on, fixed. Also jacked it up to find it has a ZF 5 speed.. Its way rougher than I can really be bothered dealing with but the ZF is a bonus. Not sure what I'll do with it yet.
  10. Its not an M-sport or AC Schnitzer or anything I'm familiar with
  11. Facelift E30 sedan. Rough on the outside with spray can black paint job. Dented front passenger door and a dent in the roof. Currently has a broken left rear door window. Lowered on 17"s with good tyres. M20B20 2L 6cyl engine with suspected head gasket Reasonably tidy interior and live plates. Boot full of spare parts Easy project for someone or wreck. $900
  12. Thanks for your input.
  13. I was really only thinking along the lines of a cheap hotrod style build. The missus has growled at me now and I'm back to looking for something roadworthy while I finish some other cars. Will keep the V12 E36 in the back of my mind though
  14. Yeah an LS conversion would be ideal but for an LS1+T56 alone I'd be paying twice what it could potentially cost me to build the v12 car
  15. Pretty sure the M73 is all alloy and the weight difference is actually negligible. I'm only considering it because there is a cheap M73 on offer. Actually looking at some info online tells me its only 10kg heavier than the M52B28... By the time You've moved the battery to the boot it'd be virtually the same.
  16. I'm not concerned with creating a perfectly balanced track car. More of a hotrod
  17. I'll mull it over for a few days and see whether I'm still keen. Any info anyone could share so I'm as informed as possible would be highly appreciated. I'd say a V12 E36 coupe with half decent brakes and suspension would be awesome to drive. Even as an automatic.
  18. I've done conversions before but never had a BMW. Pretty sure I could get it all in and plumbed up but beyond that I have no idea about BMW ECUs etc
  19. Have you researched that conversion? Any idea how much (if any) cutting is involved?
  20. I've been told its far too hard but looking at this German build thread it appears an m73 will fit in the hole without further cutting. http://www.bmw-syndikat.de/bmwsyndikatfotos/topic40640_E36_350i_V12_3er_BMW_-_E36.html Is anyone able to shed any light on this? From the pics it looks like he has a custom front subframe, but that's not a huge obstacle. My reason for asking is I can get a tidy 328i coupe with a crook trans very cheaply and there is a cheap M73 on trademe with trans, wiring, ecu's etc at present. Would make for a very unique road car

    WTB - E36 M3

Yeah it sounds awesome but I have other cars and cant justify spending too much on another toy. I'm currently torn between an M3 or getting a 328 and making it out perform an M3 for about the same price, however it'd be nice to be able to retain the M badge value
