  1. Yea cheap Chinese. Asymmetric though & they feel just as good as others with good reviews online. Everything else was like 4-500 each @ the time lol
  2. Because that is keeping with Schnitzers specs for the wheels & tyre combo. The fronts are et15 8.5 rear 9.5 et22 otherwise you would really have to stretch the rubber & would probably look gay.
  3. I have them on an 89 e34 535i they are staggered 8.5 & 9.5 235/40 & 265/35 rear. It rides and handles great much better than I expected
  4. All good. Hope it goes well, usually something simple that causes the most stress ?
  5. Just remembered. You will also need the round 20 pin adapter with the scanner
  6. This is the scanner you want. $50 on Ali express or a bit more locally if you can't wait. I think it's likely a combination of two things maybe including cam position sensor so order scanner. In the meantime go over all rubber hoses remove intake boot maf and trace all hoses with fingers carefully right down there full length right round. Also locate fuel pressure regulator, run engine, pull vacuum hose off back & see if fuel is leaking out the hose will be quite brittle or soft if it has been leaking. 7. Check fuel pressure regulator. Sometimes you will get misfire codes with this. What type of scanner are you using? Normal obd2 won't give correct or any readings. Need one of the Ali express BMW specific stahlcar.co.nz has the ones for this as it could be cam position sensor to. Vacuum leaks from vacuum line coming up near dip stick tube has caused the exact problem on several I have had & mechanics were unable to find it before I brought car & same on a car I took to specialists years ago even with smoke machine.
  8. Sold today for $1300 with fresh wof Brought this beauty off some people who thought it was beyond their repair costs after they took it to an auto electrican, local garage and exhaust shop who couldn't find problem with it. All it needed was a fuel pump relay as it wouldn't start, this was missing from its location! Ignition barrel spinning so removed steering lock. Replaced intake boot with new oem one and intake hose. After receiving a bmw scan tool checked out with a bad cam position sensor, replaced with genuine part and all is good no other codes. Put new buttons on climate control as they were missing. Cats have been removed & replaced with coby by magoo exhaust "part of the work carried out by previous owner". Feels faster & more responsive than my old 98 528iT that had cats removed also. Smooth and powerful car for not a lot of money. Need gone unfortunately, too many cars around. $1750ono 295km has 4 new tyres! struts and shocks feel new. Radius arm bushes have a bit of life in them. Oil changed and has current reg & wof. Comes with bmw specific computer that reads live data and clears codes etc.
  9. Sweet car. I feel they are the most well balanced e39 in a 3.5 litre. Like driving a 540i with the fuel consumption of a 528i. Good luck with sale
  10. Have a lachs silver 88 e34 very early model with vin tags WBAHD120803435130. 157miles. Came from factory with sports suspension, lsd, and mtech steering wheel. Has had bonnet and various parts repainted and is in good condition with a fresh WOF. Has a lot of power and manual gearbox is in great order, previous owner had clutch and water pump replaced. All fluids have been changed. Has new 225/60r15 tyres on factory basket weaves. Has several small dings to be expected with age. Only selling because I have 2 other e34 535is. Would consider offers over 5k Now offering for $3800 as I have to make room in garage. Thanks Thomas
