22 hours ago, qube said:looks well presented and being 2000 you at least get the 1 year wof but it is prefacelift, has ugly front headlights, not sure what is up with the seats not being the standard M5 version, just looks like normal msport seats.. but in saying that its probably not a bad buy at around 30k given the value going up.
still, kms are highish but i doubt it will detract from being a great car to drive. i would budget at least another 5k+ on maintenance bills though in the near future for bits and bobs?
Hey Qube, what sort of common things will need doing?? Vanos, oil leaks, clutch??

Thanks for that!!
I know someone who is keen on it & would like more info

Hi everyone, I have a customer with a 3.0 CSL, that has been in storage for 18 years & is looking for a BMW expert garage to get it back on the road, the car will be in Blenhiem, so somewhere around he Nelson, Blenheim area would be ideal
Any suggestions, would be great, as it is a special car, really needs someone familiar with older BMWs

Is that the blue car you talk of? Delphin was a dark metallic grey. The Zinnober red example is an amazing example too. Full m tech body kit, with style 5 wheels. Black leather. One of the finest examples in NZ too... stunning car in that colour. There was a ex UK green one example too that lived in Wellington. Sold to a guy in Huntly, about 6 years ago. Now in Melbourne - where a dealer has been trying to offload it between $60-$100k for the last year. Hasn’t sold.
Yes its is Phils car, sorry, got the colours mixed up
