Does anybody know the grounding points in an e36? Having some electrical issues at the moment and its getting to me..
-
Good luck trying to find nice original lips in NZ. People who do refurb them dont let them go. Better of getting new ones overseas.

cool?

Even if the bulb or dimmer has gone my OBC screen is still perfect. My range, consumption and speed still do not work but my outside temp does?
-
Yea definitely not turned down as the back lighting went out when I was driving. Fuses are all fine and so are the grounds The grounds I know of are both the suspension towers. Drivers sider under the positive feed from the boot and passengers side on the headlight side. Is there another engine ground on the underside by the steering rack?

So I had a workshop pull my power steering pulley out to get me nowhere. - Beside the point Now my OBC isnt calculating properly. Range, speed, consumption & temp do not change at all. On the drive home my Cluster, AC unit, window switches all were not lit. The back light had gone but the gauge works fine. So do the switches and AC etc. The odometer & OBC are still bright and they pulse with the headlights on Have checked fuses and the earth. Any suggestions?

Get all the cash out and put it in a room. Then swim in it

No offence when I say this I guess to the mature majority they dont look like a sleeper. But to a 20 year old male they do. We like to see big wheels, loud noises etc

Dan??? I think you missed the point mate. I agree that I should be booked for breaking the limit, Im not making any excuses. Some think that you shouldnt if its on a hill. Ie unfair. I agree Josh. Do it where it should be done. I need my licence and car for work, so I rarely ever speed in my m3. Not even 2-3k's over the limit. Thrashing it on the track is another story. It makes me laugh though getting booked for something so tame. End of the day I was in the wrong. The camera is lucky though, I had only put my front plate back on 3 hours before for a photoshoot.

Got this for pretty much next to nothing today aswell. Just looking at what it looks like plugged in. I need another tray below the OBC if anoyone has one?

Yea, after I got the diagram is took me 5 minutes lol. Wiring my black e36 in the dark was so much easier haha

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the headunit. I dont seem to have a Remote feed from the car? :S Have had a look at the pelican website with no help.

A few old timers seem to think this is the rule? I had the same opinion as you Josh

Received this nice picture of my car in the mail.. 73 in a 60 on a steep hill. I thought Van speed camera's were not allowed to park on a hill where your speed increases due to the gradient?. Ie the car accelerates under its own weight. Opinions?

255 are quite wide for an 8" rim. Do you know the offset?

Why is everyone complaining about FI, Id love a Turbo m3 . The new m5 is hot but it looks like a sleeper

Can you see out very well?

I might do this, although I could go and cut an original harness out of a wrecked e36 and wire it back up. So i have the option to put the standard headunit back in. hmm
