I have a Pivot throttle controller that I had in my F11 535i, if anyone is interested
Complete plug and play, still in original box.
-
What's the VIN number?
-
Folding mirrors (if equipped)
DRL
Warning messages in I-drive
Potentially some other bits and pieces.
Easily done with carly or bimmercode.

CCC maps stopped updating a few years back. Google and you'll find a DVD image of Au/NZ maps floating around, free of charge.
Or go to the place mentioned above and pay $$$$$ for the same thing.

How much do you usually charge for a full set of Brembo calipers?

If only it had an M paket.

Seen them selling on AU pages anywhere between $750-1500(extremely low mileage set with rotors). Plus a $100ish for postage (without rotors).

I absolutely hated my runflats, swapped to normal Dunlops and could not be happier. Have a BMW pump kit sitting in the boot, so far has only been used to pump up all sorts of balls

Also a fan of fake noise - Can you change the noise to say M5 fake noise?
You sure can, ASD module but most likely you'll have to go into the expert mode.
-
They recently added E-series as well. Coding options hugely depend on your bimmer's specs. I.e you won't have folding mirrors if you do not have a comfort access.

I actually like it, probably because mine is a diesel

Just run it and it'll tell you what you can code, module by module - fairly basic and straightforward.
Wouldn't touch the expert mode for now

Did a full and proper conversion myself, including ECE HDD cloning.
Do not think 2019 Premium maps are out yet, have a link for 2018 though.

Yep those workshops will charge you through the roof for things like that. Lack of information and then some disinformation lead people to believe that this sort of stuff cannot be diy'd, requires expensive equipment etc etc.
Have you converted your navigation to NZ yet?
-
You need to do some coding.

I use TM "Book a courier" heaps, both to send or arrange a pick up to be sent to me, trim a few cms and kgs here and there and only once was asked to buy an additional ticket but that package was dropped off directly at Fastway's depot. Not as ballsy as the above suggestions though...

Yep. Had pretty much that happen to me nearly a year ago.

Would've helped you easily if you were up in Auckland, have Carly installed.
-
Carly coding app should take care of that fairly easily?
See you if can find someone local with a dongle and app installed and ask them to do some coding for you.
-
Yep. Loaded fsc and activated 8TH before. FSC will cost you a couple of hundreds depending on where it comes from.
Need to add 8TH to FA and VO-code a couple of modules.

A lot of those Chinese bits are now reappearing all over TM and Facebook. Like M3/M5 style bumpers and grilles.

Yes I wish I went genuine.

That's precisely why I ordered Bosch instead of OEM. Same same but different.

1 hour ago, NZ BMW said:Hehe, I can show you the invoice from Auckland BMW for mine if you want. That’s the price for factory blades.
That being said, I’ve got two years out of them and they are now in need of replacement so they do last.
I cheaped out and bought a set of Bosch blades. Wish I went OEM again as they're just so much better and you definitely get more than just a season out of them.

X5: 30d vs 35d what's the difference?
in General Discussion
Posted · Report reply
I am casually looking at X5s and noticed an interesting detail after decoding a couple of 35d's VINs. They all come up as Type: X5 30dx.
What's the actual difference then? Are engine outputs different? And how do I know if the one I'm looking at is actually a 35d and not 30d labelled as 35d, if they're actually different...
From what I gather 35d is a 3.0T and 40d is a 3.0TT (same as my current 640d and I bloody love it). What is a 30d then?
PS: we are talking about F15.
Cheers
