Any idea if these fresh imports are any good? Have previously had singapore import Subaru etc and were all dogs. How are these fresh Japan imports? But am thinking 5 series is the way to go

Will have to look into that, or maybe the X3/X5 will have to be a option. Did you find the n54 motor to be reliable enough? Any thoughts on the fresh import n54 X35i vehicles?

So would you reccomend a fresh import n54 335i? Or avoid them? How are the 335i hybrid versions in the f30-f31?

I am finding that f31 aren't very common. Are the n54 actually unreliable? Seems to be a lot of fresh import n54 335i, are they worth avoiding?

I have looked at them. Not a fan of the V8s and prefer to be lower to the ground so looking at the wagons

This may have been covered off previous but I am looking for a wagon to tow the track car, been looking at a 335i or 535i wagon. Would these tow a car ok fine? And how big of a difference will it make between the n54 and n55 (may end up tuning etc) but need something as reliable as a turbo car can be (I get maintenance costs etc will be higher) just looking for any feedback on these options? Car is sitting skewed, Right front is lower that left, I suspect the spring has collapsed

I currently have a e36 compact with a stroked M52B28 motor in it, running bilstein shocks and springs. Unfortunately one if not both shocks and 1 spring have let go and require replacement. Looking for suggestions on what to go to, what people have been found to be good and bad. Car is used as a weekend car, and will be used as a club level car (Intermarque series and autocross) Any suggestions would be great

I have a freshly repainted set of Style 65 wheels, 17x8 et20. Same as pictured (ones in pictures are unfortunately my set of 17x7.5 but same colour as painted at same time. No curb rash as has all been repaired. Located in Wellington - No tyres unless want a set of Dayton DT30 235/40/17 fitted onto them $600ono as is, $800ono with tyres fitted - Not keen on shipping Ps - Wheels are replicas, did not come factory in a 17, but great option to make your BMW stand out

Forgot to note that car runs fine if MAF sensor is unplugged. Only when plugged in is there a issue.

My e36 2.8 is stalling when given any throttle and will cut out at idle randomly. Does anyone local (wellington) have a scan tool that they could pop round and scan my car with? It is not obd2, but it is the big circle diagnostic port. Or any ideas on the issue would be great. Tried a 2nd MAF sensor but no different, infact probably worse.

Universals feel ok, and workshop who did center bearing and seperate one who balanced driveshaft didnt note anything. Workshop who fitted center bearing didnt seem to know about preloading it 5mm to front of car, I have and car seems worse? Is that incorrect?

Car has a short shifter kit from a z3, unsure of driveshafts but believe they are factory manual 318ti driveshafts, along with a small case diff, have a medium case ready to go in it, but want to sort the vibration first

328ti (M52_B28 and getrag 220) I am having trouble with a vibration during heavy torque application (2nd gear typically accelerating from 20kph) Is a heavy vibration that have had for a long time, have had driveshaft balanced, replaced center bearing, securing collar and guibo/flexi ring looks in good condition, what would be wrong? Shakes like it is from center of car under front seats Looking for any tips/experience or any garages/driveshaft experts I can take for a drive to see if can isolate problem as want issue fixed.
