Hey Guys, m30b35, what's out there in the way of heavier duty rocker arms and upgraded cam like a 284? also on the lookout for a e28 535 clutch for a single mass flywheel. Cheers in advance.

Had quite the busy weekend pulling apart this old girl

Hi Steve, that's a tidy E30, love the rims! what engine is in it? Nige.
-
Hi Warren, how much are you wanting for the 265?
-
How does the getrag 262 4 speed fair in comparison to the 260/6, i've heard they aren't a very strong box?
-
Hi, on the look out for index 11 or 12, low km fuel injectors for the n54 135, 335, 535 thanks

Hey guys, so here's the story... have a 1980 635csi auto. Want to convert to manual. Have a getrag 260/6 box. This weekend I'm going to check out a couple of e12 525 manual scrap cars. My e24 is based on the e12 chassis so... What's worth pulling off the e12 car that could be useful for the conversion or for future spare parts or to on sell to others... I'm thinking pedal box, driveshafts, diff, suspension, maybe even the m30b25 engine. Are things like the headlights and doorhandles the same? any internal bits? dash cluster etc? who has knowledge on these old treasures!

Hi, I'm looking for any recommendations for a structural repair to an 'A' pillar in Christchurch. Unfortunately the car has been written off but i'm hoping for a cost effective repair to get it through the system and re-registered. Cheers.

Thanks Warwick, It's sedona red. -
What do you guys think? a good idea or waste of time? In theory should help with the carbon build up problem on direct injection engines and cant do any harm right?

Need a 64mm badge for my bootlid. wasn't happy with the colour of the $16 trademe one I got... Had quite a petty arguement with them over it!

Went to fit a new serpentine drive belt and didn't have a T60 for the tensioner then discovered I had a coolant leak from a disintegrated flange. So the 1 hour job is still sitting in bits waiting new part. At least I discovered the issue now and not on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere.

Designed obsolescence! Why do car manufacturers use crap plastic flanges on the coolant system that only last 100,000kms and then try to sell you a replacement at extortionate prices when for my money I'd buy an aftermarket aluminium version for 5 times cheaper, and lifetime warranty?

Hi Matthew, thanks but I'm very happy with my 135i, I did test drive a DCT 335 FBO before i bought the 1 series but I specifically like traditional manual transmission. What did you do to your exhaust? So far I've got catless downpipes but was thinking about putting in a midsection resonator or something.
