Change you FA to ECE Specs then apply FSC Patch with NZ Specs.

Then checking on Bimmertech.com for “Do I Have CIC, NBT or NBT Evo?”

I should have “NBT EVO ID4” as the car is 1-Series F20/F21 03/2015 – 06/2016.

The picture of ID4 also shown on Bimmertech.com also seems to match my iDrive when I could still see it. 

 

So hopefully that is correct and confirms your question?

 

And if so how or who can help with the relevant software patches as you mentioned?

Maybe I can help.Is your NBT Evo is ID4 or ID5?.No signal is cause by VO Lock or Region Lock.Need to patch with  FI or other similar software.

If you know how to change the FA and coding.I can provide you the FSC Set for NZ specs.Usualy after you changed the FA the Navi is greyed out.You can use the fsc set to patch the headunit and load maps afterwards.

If your vehicle have factory option 6NS(Enhanced Bluetooth) or 6NL(Handsfree Telephony).

I have a spare blower motor with new resistor from e90.

You need BMW Software-Winkfp or BMW ISTA/P,Icom Interface and Battery Charger. 

needs to flash the firmware,maybe can solve the problem.

maybe you can try delete the VO $609(NAVIGATION Professional) and Add $663(Radio BMW Professional)Replace your CCC to RAD. write new FA in CAS and FRM and recode kombi and RAD.

if your car have comfort access try disconnect the door handle connection or disconnect from control unit or disconnect any aftermarket fitted accessories.

use ncs expert, remove VO 0640 and try add 0644 in the VO, FA write cas and frm, code CIC.

you need to add HIP Module in your CCC, Flash your CCC with ECE Firmware and need to remove your GPS cable from your Navigation HDD unit and plug to HIP module and  reroute to Roof Aerial. Latest Update for CCC is 2014.For Maps FSC Activation Code I can generate Activation code for CIC, NBT headunits(Motion,Premiun,Next) for NZ new cars only and not retrofitted units and not Japan
