Hey guys, just recently purchased an E53 4.6is in Estoril blue over black nappa leather with Titan shadow trim! Have been looking for something bigger to roam around in especially for trips in summer & the mountains in winter. 2nd car I’ve purchased so hopefully i’ve made the right choice but I’m loving it so far. Wanted something unique and somewhat special, after doing a bit of research it seems the 4.6is’ in Estoril blue & Imola Red are the ones to get. It’s NZ new, comes with most of the service history from previous owner as he owned it for the last 10 years. Has all the original booklets, owners manual, handbooks etc & 2 keys! Has done around 180,000km’s with 2 previous owners (so the previous owner says) Have yet to go in to get it checked up but will be doing so sometime next week along with a new WOF. From what I’ve seen in the service history most of the big jobs have been done including a full replacement of the cooling system, timing chains, gaskets etc. Nothing has been noted in regards to transmission besides the usual service but it changes gears smoothly (up & down) without any jerking. Overall body condition is decent for an almost 20 year old car. Minor spots of rust due to paint chips, few scuffs on both sides of the front bumper, headlights are a little foggy & the tailgate won’t close! It seems the spring inside the mechanism has come loose & won’t latch on so I’m constantly hit with the “bootlid open” code & the interior lights on in the boot. (Turns off after 10mins or so) will be getting it sorted ASAP cause I don’t want it to drain my battery. Will keep you all updated as I get this beast up to looking factory fresh again! Looking forward to hearing any advice from people who are in more knowledge than me (so basically everyone lol). Gonna put a to do list when I’ve figured out where the cars at mechanically! Thanks for reading, stay safe & well! - B

Looking for a clean NZ new example of an e46 330ci M Sport with somewhat low k’s. Not fussed about colour, heated seats & sunroof would be a bonus! Preferably pre-facelift cheers,

Final production year for the E9X 3 series, was imported into NZ at 36,612km’s 3 years ago & since then hasn’t done as many miles as it should. Am the 2nd NZ owner having purchased the car at around 42,000km’s. Currently sitting at around 52,000km’s but will slightly go up as I drive it 2-3days a week. Have driven around 10,000km’s in the year I’ve owned it & has been an absolute pleasure to drive. Have had it under mechanical warranty along with a visit to Bellars Motor Works. Last service was done at 48,000km’s. No rust or oil leaks with oil/filter changes being carried out at 6000km intervals (suggested iDrive intervals is 20,000kms) Have only ever been running on 98 along with Castrol EDGE 5W-30. Gold class tints done by FM7 Full stage 3 paint correction done along with C-Quartz Lite coating applied a couple months ago by Final Touch (will come with the full wash box kit by CarPro to extend the coating’s life expectancy) Notable Options: - Black Sapphire Metallic - Blue Shadow Cloth / Alcantara Upholstery - Aluminium Trim - M Sport package - M Sport suspension - M leather multifunction steering wheel - M Aerodynamic package - Sport seats electronically adjusted with memory - USB/DVD/AUX input - Headlight cleaning system - Rain sensor - Automatic Mirrors/Air Conditioning/Xenon Lights - Daytime Running Lights - Reverse Camera - Steptronic Transmission (Sport/Manual/Auto Modes) - Comfort Access - High Gloss Shadow Line - Headlining in Anthracite - Brake Energy Regeneration (regenerates battery power when braking) And more…! Perfect city cruiser with just enough kick to get you through. Looks great in Black-Sapphire Metallic contrasting with the Alcantara interior. Genuine M3 260M wheels bought from a fellow forum member along with the standard 193M M sport wheels. Also comes with genuine BMW floating centre caps bought from continental so the logo will always face upright! Will be happy to take it for a pre purchase inspection at the buyers cost. Contact me via text on 0212655240 $20,000 or near offer, will put it on trademe soon.

Damn yeah, those look dope but I’m just after one of these! That’s a good idea actually, doing a group order to split cost. If anyone else is interested to go in on parts hit me up 😂

Does anyone know where to get a quality trunk lip spoiler for an e92 that won’t cost an arm & a leg for shipping? Was browsing on autoteknic and the shipping cost was $400 more than the actual part...

Welcome. Nice one dude, love a touring! Was looking at buying one myself. Look forward to see what you do with it ??

Cheers guys! Am looking at some m3 wheels to Chuck on it ?

Yeah would definitely be keen for that unfortunately my hours of work are inconsistent given the industry of my profession. Hopefully I’ll be able to catch the one in Jan...? ?

The E92 m3 was a dream for the 16 year old me. Just owning a regular e92 itself still baffles me!

Hey guys Brian here, I’ve lurked around for the past couple months gathering knowledge here & there to further my understanding of this beautiful brand we all love. Back in September I purchased my 1st ever car, a 2013 E92 320i M-Sport with 42,000km’s. Growing up, my family for the past 3-4 generations have only ever been in Mercedes so I’m the first to branch out into something I never understood until meeting a friend back in high school who’s family have been BMW. This is technically the 2nd bmw I’ve owned although the first one I myself purchased. Used to drive an e87 2010 120i. Apologies for some of the shitty iPad camera quality but will share more pics as my ownership progresses! Stoked to be a part of this community, pleasure to meet you all.
