It really depends on the condition of the engine and the specific parts that come with it. Generally speaking, you can expect to pay anywhere from $2500 to $4000 for a complete N54 engine with all necessary components. -
It seems unlikely that this amount of gas usage is possible. I suggest double checking all of your gas appliances and meters to make sure that nothing is malfunctioning or being misread.
