  1. This is such a misconception - most people who have a problem have:

    - crap tyres

    - excessive lowering causing excessive camber causing a reduced contact patch on the road.

I can give my car a bootful in 2nd gear in the wet and its reluctant to let go, and I've got 300hp. It'll slide, but only if you really provoke it.

your points make sense, although... Ive got decent tyres on the cossie and still find it VERY hard to get traction in the wet in any gear.. Thats 385hp.. Does E36 have ASC/TCS? probably why you are having to 'provoke' it :)

P.S... Might have more torque than the M3 though ;)

Evo = extrememly low...extreme Camber....go most high speeds around a corner and it sticks to the road.

BMW = i dont believe the tires are crap , low maybe but the evo is low too? so i doubt lowness is a factor cause then shouldnt that effect my evo in the wet as well? because its a RWD it handles different. and they are more prone to slipping.

maybe im wrong but i do believe because its a rwd it slipt.

    4WD = safe

RWD = pwnage... unless you are used to it...

Come on Livi sell the EVO and get a Real EVO.... M3 that is :)

    Holy sh*t yes doooo it

^ Looks hawt but they ain't allowed to poke out - that's the problem

    Camber/d stretch/d poke will sort this :D

yup those are 4x100/4x114. I think there is a bit of misconception with the poke issue. My mates have had there road cars certed with the wheels poking out but the tread of the tire is within the guard, but some other places disagree with this.

I was always under the impression that as long as the tyre was covered everthing was honky dory... Could be wrong but who cares.... M50 Turbo + 10" wide rear 9" wide front = ultimate....

I might add that americana will be splooging all over your car to mate.... I envy you. :)

Much love for your NZ stz in an e30... We said no to g.e, we said no to nuclear power... we said yes to steinlager pure and i say F**K yes to your car! :D

P.S... I was running 16x9 on my E30 and still had ~ 1" of space before i had to start rolling guards.. I think 10" would be sweet depending on offset...

  3. If they are the same rails i had in there is nothing wrong with them. Tell the cops to go f**k a stick... I've been through VTNZ WOF's with those.

I once got a greeny for the height, but that was easily fixed with a swap of rear springs and a headlight adjustment

Also WTF is wrong with the sway bars.

    Total bullshit IMO

P.S Glad to see you got rid of all the smoking on the front, looked cheap and shitty..

  4. If anyone wants do a group buy on either Meguiars or Mothers after seeing these results please express genuine interest by PM. I have contacts at both brands and get it for less than wholesale, you’d be disgusted at the mark up the retailers put on the product, I can tell you it’s more than 200%. Would need a few orders to make it worthwhile for the wholesalers.

Know exactly what you mean Graham... I rock clay bars for $18

  5. Nah i havnt, thought id just try here and trademe first, if i doesn't sell at this price ill keep it as to buy them new would easily cost this... Id be ripping myself off otherwise. I reckon it either needs to be put back on my old car or on mattzys road panda =)
