Yea its a spray on dye. Under heat it tends to come off as a powdery substance and will also fade rather quickly. I'd reccomend getting it done with new black (or whatever colour you want) material. Im going to be getting mine done when the cage goes in.....

VHT Vinyl and Carpet dye, availible at any reputable car accessory shop.

You may need to take the headliner out.

Also it only cost's around $200 to get a NEW black one put in
