  1. Okay, i took the VDO out and opened it up. doesn't look like theres any corrosion on the boards and the batteries havn't exploded.

    The rev counter light used to come on and off intermittently when i had my headlights on and i never thought anything of it. Now the thing doesnt go at all.

    What wires should i be looking for that read the revs? im guessing it would go to the gearbox??

    Someone please help!!


  2. Anyone still reconditioning Gauge clusters? My rev counter went on me in the weekend.

    Either that or anything I can look at that might be effecting this? (Bearing in mind all the rest of the cluster works) Ie where does the counter get its reading from??

    K&N replacement filter

    Chip, dont know what brandm was done in 96-97, dyno sheet worked out to be 301BHP at the flywheel

  4. Cliff.

    The adaptor goes directly from the box to the AFM. There is a round peice of steel on the INSIDE of the Box that support the POD filter. So you will more than likely need the 'adapter' otherwise you will need to have one made and welded on anyway.
