  1. i bet its that plug on the bottom of the sump, drivers side? i had the same problem, ordered another from bmw, about $40 including gst. Just unplug it and if there is oil in it , probably the problem

And of course that 'plug' at the bottom of the sump will have oil behind it! after all that is how you drain the oil!! :D

  2. Okay so ive got an oil leak. Cleaned up the area where there was oil and have found its coming from the ? oil pressure sender ? Anyways its the blue thing in the attached pic. Seems to not be sealing properly and the oil is pushing out around the plug. Its made a patch of oil in my shed about the size of a dinner plate over the last week or so. Ive topped up the oil a bit but am just wondering what i will need to fix this problem.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

    Chris

  3. Im glad to see you are sticking a whole new sunroof in. I didnt. And im regretting it. Little bubbles or cancer coming back thru it. If i keep it im going to have to get it fixed. Along with the drains, headliner and seals.

Basically if you strip off the car it wont drop the price all that much. And doing your own prep work will mean the painters cant garuantee the work. BE CAREFUL where you go to get it done. Be there throughout the prep/paint process and if theres anything you dont like the look of make sure they fix it. Also dont you have aluminium panels or some shiz? Might also want to tell the beaters to stay away from the bog :D

  4. replicas are poos. they're usually built with inferior quality

    Yea i wouldnt touch replicas.

THe thread about BBS goin into self liquidation should be enough to tell you not to buy cheap sh*t jap wheels.

GO spend 4k on new work wheels. Then you have wank factor cos they are origional Work and you wont

be putting them out of business :D
