hey guys, whilst flicking through the latest nz performance car i came upon this page. which simply highlights how entries have opened for the upcoming V 4&rotary nationals in late January 2013. the original plan was for me and my brother (BMW012) to enter his BMW e30 318is turbo. however reading this page sparked the idea that it could be a good idea to enter as a bimmersport group. basic requirements from what i'm aware of is a minimum of 5 cars for group entry. i feel that it would be great to see a group of insane, staunch and beautiful bimmers showing all the jappers whos boss . nothing has be done as of yet but i wanted to purely investigate the level of interest in this and then possibly setup the group. so....who's keen?? if your interested please don't feel ashamed to post a pick of what you would possibly enter with.... hopefully this could also inspire you to get your a** in to gear and get those projects finished off, those final mods done and to give you a goal! so get posting bimmersporters!! considering what condition its in and the standard to what things have been done 6k isnt too bad. i am just trying to sell my e36 320i so i can start my own e30 project but waiting for the right e30 to come along seems to be its own challenge haha

hey mate, looks like a great project uve got yourself into. am looking to go down pretty much the exact same lines with an auto 325i. plan is to convert and replace most of the same items u have. i feel converting an auto 325i is benificial compared to purchasing a manual 325i as it pretty much ensures the engine hasnt been ravaged haha. just curious...what is the total cost to date that uve spent on the car cheers.

okay here we have my 1997 320i in montreal blau. it has nearly 217,xxx kms on the clock. its auto and has been my daily for nearly a year and a half now. the body is in pretty decent condition although some clear coat loss on bonnet. the drivers and rear seat have some wear. the tires might get through the next warrant but a tad unsure on that one. it sits on b&g sport suspension with 17x8 mak stings et40( a real nice fit) they have bad curb rash as i was planning to have them refurbed. it has a brand new windscreen,window washer motor, passenger window clips and a few other items here and there such as a 10inch fusion captive sub and amp and brand new rear 6x9 sony speakers. it has a mark 3 golf front lip on it which sits low but not too low( that photo was on a steep driveway hence the minimal clearance.) it has a cold air induction system with a heat shield which brings out that amazing vanos sound. it has no issues with warrants however it needs new steering rack seals. i will probably sus the seals and the tyres for sale. the gearbox holds first till 3000rpm other than that its fine. its surprisingly tolerable as ive been fine with it for a year and a half now. will be sold with a fresh warrant and rego. im after any offer around the $2500 mark but will consider any offer including swaps with cash either way.

1997 320i auto in dark blue,214,XXXkm 4 door,in good condition. 80% tyres. Some small clear coat loss on the rear bumper and bonnet. new wheel center caps and badges all around SONY XPLOD head unit. sounds great with special edition speakers. holds first a tad longer than usual when cold but other than that it is great to drive some wear in the driver seat and back seat. has new warrant. any questions feel free to ask. has done me extremely well as a daily driver and always starts first pop it is powerful while also being rather economical as well will definatly be sad to see it go $3,000 o.n.o (can be lenient on price so make a reasonable offer) am selling as i am looking to get an e30, as this is the case i will consider swaps for all e30s any questions then definitely feel free to ask 021666023 cheers
