Just a couple of statistics to bore you with regarding E30 is`.(qouting from 318is website) 41234 E30is were built between sep.89 and may `91. Of these , 3513 were R H drive,9779 were built to U.S Specs. They cost DM 33600 in 1990.These cars are getting quite rare and good examples are hard to find.

318is` are fairly common in Germany. There is even a web site dedicated to 318is` .(www.318is.de) It`s quite an interesting site with lots of info.

Nah, I was tempted,but no not quite the original car.far from it. Those seats might be comfy, but I `ll give it a miss.I know they are getting scarcer. There are still quite a few better ones around.

Yeah , come to think of it . Could have been the fuel pump relay. Such a long time ago.It was one of those two for sure.

This sounds very much like a Starter Motor Relay problem. Get a new relay,not all that expensive, or get it tested by an auto electrician. Had the same problem about 56 years ago and a new relay solved the problem.

Thanks for your birthday greetings .Just finished work and I will enjoy a beer or two and one for all you guys as well.You got me down as 62 , but ,a year makes a lot of difference when your are 63. 1941 was a better year in Germany than 1942. So, I am happy with 63. Whats more UBI BENE IBI PATRIA and reasonable good health is all I wish for.

I`d like to replace my ft.repeater indicator lenses(the ones on the side guards)with clear lenses.Any ideas where to get them cheaper than from the dealers? The dealers want $96 for them. (sorry, forgot to mention it is for an e36,`96) Also, just had a call from daughter,she lost her r/h ft. Mudflap. This is for an E30. Any help is appreciated.
