Happened to my E30 once.You can buy a replacement mast for your electric antenna.Got one from Repco(cost about $50) They are very easy to install. i

Got my car back from BM workshop.Didn`t need a new manifold.They welded the crack in the old one.Was told if it cracks again, it would need replacing($800). The engine sounds sweet now and it runs beautifully now. Total cost to all this repaired (welding,3.5hrs.labour)$289.00. Fingers crossed, hope it won`t crack again.

Benjamin Moore Paints will match any colour.They charge about $ 20 to put it into an aerosol can.They would need to have a sample or see your car.

This definately clicked ,this morning on the way into town it got louder, like an amplified Westclox Alarm.How much did your manifold cost?

Origin of that clicking noise(more under load)comes from the exhaust manifold. Went to BM workshop and had it confirmed.Either a cracked manifold(worst scenario) or broken exh.manifold stud. Car goes in wed.morning to get fixed. If it`s a cracked manifold I will be looking at $800 plus 2-3hrs labour.Hopefully it will be just a broken stud.

No, not a pinking noise. it`s hard to describe,never heard that noise before.I don`t think has anything to with the engine. Seems to be originating from an electric/onic source. Might have Guido at BM w/shop have a liston to it tomorrow.Oh, Grant, hope you have a nice holiday .
